@TheMrEM4N What you are seeing is visual iterations of mathematical formulas. These iterations are infinite in nature, and of course that alone makes it very special. but of course if you don't get it, then there is nothing to be said. Some people just don't comprehend what they are looking at when they see fractals. Think of the universe, and infinity. That's what fractals are in essence. Infinite.
@ObamaDefeat2012 Yup. I just don't get it. Maybe if I saw the mathematical formulas being expressed in this video I would be more impressed by how numbers translate into images.
@ObamaDefeat2012 Here is a Wiki page which explains a Mandelbrot. (World Wide Web)(dot)en(dot)wikipedia(dot)org(slash)wiki(slash)Mandelbrot(underscore)set
Maybe that will give you an idea of the "complexity" of it.
@Polaf3456 (^_^) That slidy, floaty feeling is such a good match. Funny how some of the timing and changes seem to line-up with events in the video. I added the song after finishing the render and they just kind of synched up.
@kitchendon That effect of abstract videos synching up is very cool, and an awesome side effect of our awesome brains. The same thing happened when I played a piano concert with a feedback loop projected on the wall: I got a ton of compliments on how in sync the music and the video were, when I had done no practicing or editing to achieve that. Very cool, awesome program.
730 hours! I greatly appreciate the time you invested in making this. ANY program like Mojoworld, POV-Ray, Artmatic Voyager require a lot of time and patience to design and then render. I applaud your efforts.
@hyporealistic No Mac version of m3D. But you can try a similar app in your browser. Best with Chrome or other modern browser. look for fractal dot io (i'll put link in vid description)
@Bettinatizzy Hi Bettiny. :) Thanks. You can download a .mp4 file of the video on my Vimeo account. vimeo dot com/donwhitaker There must be a screensaver around somewhere that'll play videos.
@Omegaroth Grab a copy of Mandelbulb 3D - it's a free program and not so hard to figure out. More info examples at the Fractal Forums. I'll put the link in this video's description.

@TheMrEM4N Well in fact you ARE seeing mathematical formulas being expressed. I think you mean you would like to see the formulas...no?

@hyporealistic I forgot to also mention Mandelbulber. A similar app to Mandelbulb 3D. I believe it is open source and has a Mac version.
