Dear Applefags, Use a Zune. Unless your so blinded by iTunes and alike, and brainwashed, you'd know and realize it's a good player, sounds a lot better then the iPod, and has more networked features. At least acknowledge it. They've came a long way.

Also, I like Apple. I'm not a Microsoft fanboy. While I love my Zune 4, I love my iPod Classic. Maybe not as much, and iTunes making me think the next thing I buy is a Zune 120, but I still like it none-the-less. Good for Podcast's, but so is Zune.

One other thing that you could have, or should have, mentioned is the relative storage capacities of the two devices for the price.

And I don't think having to turn the screen sideways is an issue for Zune. I think it's actually beneficial to turn the screen sideways, because it allows the image to be larger because of video aspect ratios. The iPhone does the same thing, and people don't seem to mind that.

Honestly, I had an iPod. It broke when my 3 year old brother got to it (ya...smart me =P) and so I went out and tried something new; I tried out a Zune. To my surprise, it was actually very good. I now have one, and have no problems with it. It is very reliable, and I don't even need a case (unlike the very scratchable iPod). Seriously, GET A ZUNE...you won't regret it!
