@NintendoFreakD actually there will be a boxset coming out next month for K-ON! it's the ANIME LEGENDS set it's up for preorder on rightstuf! i have the singles but i'm more than likely going to get this to lol! hell i've got 3 versions of the first season of Haruhi Suzumiya the LE the regular dvd's and the anime legends set!

Personally this is real stupid, I never buy from bandai much since they over price all their stuff. But I guess now is the time to get some of the bandai stuff I've been holding out on before they get discontinued and the price sky rockets.

I'm not going to lie I do watch anime illegally from animeultima, anime44, etc all those sites but at the end of the day if I like a series I go out to FYE or order from Rightstuf and Amazon and support the manga and anime of it. Its not like I'm downloading it and saying fuck the industry, I do buy something if I like it and I feel that most anime fans should do that as well, its too expensive is a terrible excuse.

I'm just as guilty of watching pirated Anime online, difference is I do like Loserperson says. I watch 1 or 2 episodes online and if I like the series I go to Amazon, or Rightstuf, or wherever the hell they sell Anime and buy it. That's exactly what I did with Heaven's Lost Property when it released. Yes it was $50 bucks, but it was well spent, and now look 3 weeks later and it has already dropped to $40.

Love it, support it. Simple as that.

@2GuysThatPlayGames You do realize there are legal anime streams right? That's how I watch most of my anime (I watch the rest on DVD/BD, legal downloads off of PSN.), from the legal streams on Hulu, NicoNico, FUNimation's site, Crunchyroll, and more where they do earn money, even though the ad revenue doesn't amount to all that much.

Banning it from the internet would do more damage than good.

@2GuysThatPlayGames Agreed, the physical releases are always best. But considering I don't have all that much money (I'm 17, have no job-trying to get one.), legal streaming works with me. I can watch the shows I like, and it supports the industry with ad revenue, even though it doesn't amount to much.

I'm really wanting that job so I can buy more of this stuff.

Yeah its said but in the press release on ANN they mentioned they will keep producing older dvd's so the recently released series we can still get but the ones that were scheduled to come out are no more

I used to download so many anime, and i had many that i loved when i was young. Then i grew up, got a job and bought all those anime's i loved. Today i honestly watch 1-2 episode online, if i seem to enjoy the series, i buy it !

Also, there's just so much entitlement, and idiocy. "Just because they're downloading doesn't mean they're not supporting the series, it means they're not crazy for buying discs that you can download the files from for free.", someone said that to me on this one forum (I changed a few things, but it's the same message basically.). Then you got the people who think fansubs support the origin, meaning also the companies.

Anyway, enough with my rant (I may make a video response.), RIP Bandai.:(

@Loserperson2006 Not to mention those S.A.V.E. editions as you mentioned. Air is going for $15, Baldr Force EXE, $8 (Both at Amazon), and more. It's not like everything is like the $370 Fate/Zero box set here. Stuff is cheap here compared to Japan ($50-$100+ for 2-4 episodes.).

@MrCrysis880 It is NOT way too expensive that is a terrible excuse, you go to Rightstuf, Amazon and other online sites to buy from and you are getting the cheapest prices you'll find. Its called not being lazy and working for the thing you love, I'm 15 and I do chores for my parents and other family to earn money to buy anime and manga simply because I love it. "its way too expensive" is a cheap excuse, get a job or do some chores. end of story.

I didn't have much Bandai stuff (1 Code Geass Queen volume, and the Eureka Seven movie on DVD-first anime DVD I ever bought by myself, July 2010.), but I did have intentions on picking more of their stuff this year as I finally started to get the money to buy more than just manga last year.
