I have a son too and worry that Obama's weakness, mistaken for statesmenship, will get us involved in messy international conflicts that will force us to be engaged. First, I really liked Obama I mean I loved him. I thought he would be the person the world has waited for. But his reactions to the current events in Iran have proven me better. He is not capable of making decisions or helping people in the world.

For the first time in my adult life I didn't vote in a Presidential election, I couldn't. .......McCain is a hero, I gave him respect, that doesn't mean I agree with his politics or would be likely to vote for him. He is not a conservative and he is hardly a Republican...... He is old and obscenely wealthy but it's not the wealth that bothers me.... it's the fact that he is out of touch with middle class America plain and simple. Another mean old Republican billionaire out of touch with reality.

I'm not a democrat, I never voted for a Democratic Presidential nominee ever in my life. Ronald Reagan made me a Republican, Bush 1 disappointed me, Bush 2 further disappointed me, McCain alienated me.

He is another mean old Republican billionaire without a sense of fair play. Ronald Reagan had a sense of fair play that seems to be non-existent now in the party. When Bush 1 was pushing NAFTA he told us it was to level the playing field. The problem with that is that when he said it he didn't mean that he was going to raise the Mexican standard of living to match ours, he meant that he was going to lower the American standard of living to match theirs and that is exactly what is happening!

I heard he was a sub-standard pilot and if his father hadn't of been an Admiral he wouldn't have even got near a Navy jet, he would have been drummed out of flight school. If he had half a brain he would have liquidated some of his real estate holdings before he started to preach to the middle class at a time when they are losing the roofs over their heads. His loss is America and the world's gain. I would rather have a third Bush term than a first McCain term. In fact I would rather Palin be the leader of the free world over McCain. I would trust her on foreign relations a hell of alot more.

We SHOULD bomb the Iranian nuclear facilities if they are indeed building nuclear weapons which they most certainly are. This is a conveniently distracting talking point and an opportunity for McCain not to join his fellow Republican Senators as they continue their efforts to trash he very capable and first Hispanic woman nominee to the Supreme Court, Judge Sotormayor. Johnny needs those Hispanic votes to win re-election in Arizona next next. What a self serving politician.
