Wonderful set, with the 3 best beer jingles of the 1980s. I also find it funny that a record store in 1983 would tout a 1981 album as 'the latest' from Loverboy. And the Lipton 'tilting' is just the herbal version of the 'Lipton plunge' from their iced tea commercials
I never truly experienced the drama of the baritone male vocal at the end of that Loenbrau spot (I peed), so thank you for reloading in better quality. Definately near the end of the "crunchy mountain man with orchestra"-era of jingles, I think. I've heard more of them in '70s stuff out there, anyway. Way to stick to your guns, creative team!
I thought the beginning of the herbal tea CM was going to be for Camay or some other bath-related product...you know where the water is just a millimeter or so above the nipples? haha
It's truly hard to believe HOW much commercials ADs and things on TV have changed and NOT for the better.. Television had WAY more FAMILY programs and really great shows that families could and would watch together after 8pm ao all the kids that had 9:00 or 9:30 bedtimes had good shows to watch... TV Execs really need a few of us who grew up in the 80's to give them some fresh views. about GOOD Programing ...
Was Brooke Shields the face of the 80's or what? I mean she appeared in the I <3 NY promo and the model in the shampoo ad REALLY looked like her A LOT.
I totally remember seeing these commercials when i was a kid, living in NY. This brings back some great memories. I miss NY so much!!

Mr. Belvedere theme guy on Budweiser ad!
Seeing Tootsie after Ghandi would have me feeling kinda strange too.
Being from the New York City area, they'd do the I Love NY ads ALL the time on the NYC stations. Odd!
WORSH down denim?
Newmark & Lewis bit the dust in 1992.
Willowbrook Mall & Paramus Park! Been to those, but don't remember no HARMONY HUT!

that line in the McDonald's commercial about "Grandma is my special friend" creeped me out the slightest bit
Larry Bird just sounds like a corn-fed Indiana boy. The accent get stronger around Muncie and increases as you go South
Gloria Vanderbilt jeans are better than any ol' wedding dress!

That McDonald's commercial was pretty heartwarming. Much better than "I'm lovin' it!"
