Paul Chapman kicks some as one this one, as a huge Schenker/UFO fan this is one of the first cuts that make me realize why Chapman got the gig... this cat also swings a big stick...huge ups to PS, you rock Bro!
My boot looks better then this, and it's the best quality outside of the two excepts from the Story of UFO interview DVD. It is amazing full concert however
"The Wild, The Willing, & The Innocent" is the only post-Schenker album that I would describe as mandatory to have in your collection. The guitar playing isn't as uniquely lucid as Michael's stuff, but the songwriting on this album is up to the standard of Lights Out, Obsession, and Force It. It was a totally over-budget album (UFO's version of Motley Crue's Corabi record) that never lived up to commercial expectations, but really amazing production with a lot of experimentation going on.
I saw UFO in Dec. 93 in Germany..the FIRST reunion show w/ Schenker. I too walked over to the bus. They were all insided..but drummer Andy Parker came and chatted to me and another dude. He took my LP cover of Strangers and got it autographed by all the band. Thanks Andy.
when i was 14 i saw ufo. before the concert i got high then walked over to there tour bus.i could see the backs of there heads through the tinted glass.i cant tell you how it felt. it was like they were to cool for regular humans.a gard came out a politely told us that the band just wanted to be left alone right now. in true ufo style they blew the main act off the stage that night. wish i could go back to that night.
@diagreen I saw them about a year ago, Paul Raymond was being ever elusive, not signing or meeting with us, and they were more apt to talk to the best looking girls, so if you had t*ts, you were in like Flynn! hahaha I posed with Mogg before they left for a picture! I posted it on Photobucket
You are so true. Well said mate. Chapman era of UFO was their best. Schenker was a great Guitarist but sulked too much, caused too many problems & was too egotisical. Tonka was a diamond. Great writer, Great Musician.

It's a fantastic album, isn't it? UFO should have been bigger than Led Zeppelin, in my opinion.
