, would any land rover as long as bing road legal be ok , seen a couple of £1500 ones floating bout there 2.5 4 cylinder petrol , is that enough piff to go off road
Ha Ha Ha Brilliant! You should get yourself up to North Derbyshire, mate. There's some cracking lanes up here!. Series Landrovers are the total mutts nuts. They have to the most fun vehicle you can buy for less than a grand. (This side of a bike anyway!)
well it was just to cart more stuff about on top, but we did use it at couple of local motorsport venues as a viewing platform, 3 old sofa's in the back and a beer fridge, what more could you want :-)
bastards they'll steal anything these days , my dad has a series three 109 hard top and it has 110 mirrors on it and the little shits snapped the arm off and stole the bloody mirror
The D90 got a set of 35x12.50 mud tires, but then some total git stole them. I haven't got the pickup anymore, but my range rover has 33" mudds, hopefully 35x10.50 simex when funds allow
Superb vid! You have shown off the landys capabilities really well. I've wanted a landy for years, ever since I saw the Gods Must Be Crazy. What a vehicle! Thanks for uploading. :-)
I've always wanted to see that film. To be honest the Landrovers can do a lot more than was shown here, I'm just to much of a wimp. Once I have my roll cage in things should get a bit more extreme.
yep, it's a public off road site near handcross (down A23 towards brighton). It's one of my favourites because everyones friendly and they change the site every month. It's basically open land so you can go where ever suits you. Costs about £20 open last sunday of each month.
a few too many jumps and 50 years of crap british weather!! Don't worry had it on the road again next month which is where I put it on it's side (check my other vids) cheers for watching
thanks a lot, 110 landies are the best, I want to get one as my next car prefably with a big turbo diesel lump. Stick some vids of you landy up i'd love to have a look
This is the best off-roading video on youtube! I enjoyed every second of this video, its just so entertaining. You did a great job showing off the capabilities of land rovers. Thanks for sharing the videos!
Thanks mate, I can't recommend it enough, I've learnt so much and met so many great friends, it's probably the cheapest form of motorsport. I recommend starting with a little Suzki, great cars, super easy to fix and high MPG!!!
This looks great. I want to do the same. We have a 1978 swb diesel ser 3 with new tyres. I want to see what it can do !!

oh yeah, any LR would be fine, the green pickup is a 2.25 and cost me 500quid and was tax exempt.
You don't need super power to offroad, tires are the biggest deal really. Have a look at suzuki SJ's too they are great for first time offroading.

get some chunkier tyres then you might not have so many problems in the mud
