Can someone help me. I hav the hd pvr gaming edition. And the software that came with it was Arcsoft ShowBiz. I released one day the quality wasn't as good as it could be. So I looked at my tv settings and found mine was on 480p so I changed it to 1080p/i and now I have a black screen on my pvr. Please help
Thank you thank you thank you. Very good tutorial. Only question: you use "8-bit" for pixel format? Do you still recommend that? I know it means shorter render times, but is the picture still as clear?
@xHeADShoTx559 Hey I noticed how you use Sony Sharpen. In a game like MW3 when I render with sharpen, the video is decent but the HUD has a little bit of pixelly artifacts around it. So I suggest for a game like MW3 DONT ADD SHARPEN.
there is no need to render the video at 59 fps, youtubes codec will make it 29.97. so you might as well render it as that. it will half the render time and make the file smaller
I used your settings to render a movie recorded by Hauppauge HD PVR in Sony Vegas 10.0 Pro (64-bit). Looks nice when i open this video in player but when I upload this on YouTube that looks bad.
What do you think about this? /watch?v=CTvie33Ld30
@JustLemonNoLime - HD PVR captures in 720p (no CC can capture in 1080p at the moment.) You want your render settings to be as close to the settings of the original clips as possible.
@gatorfan31096 It (can) capture in 1080i; just like the Hauppauge. 1080i is worse quality than 720p because it is interlaced so 720p is your best bet.
the vid is pretty good but you can't up a 10mb/sec recorded gameplay to 14mb/sec it wont add any better quality just keep it the same quality and up your file size. I would say record at 13.5 mb/sec because more bytes means more pixels which is better quality you can downsize it from there. I have spent countless hours researching this and can tell you that 14m/sec is way too big maybe try 8 for youtube
@MrSnipererMan look up a vid on how to compress it. im guessing the file type that ur video is is .avi and the file you want it to be is mp4 or something like that.
dude using this format what size file do you get for a 5 min video the way im going it now i get a 15 min video to about 500-600 mb and keep the quality
ok why is it that when i drag my clip in it has no volume but when i play the clip outside of sony vegas it has volume

I still have fucking 119FPS
iGame360fficial 1 month ago
why 59.94 fps? youtube only supports 29.97 fps so having 59.94 fps would only make your file bigger and longer to upload, wouldn't it?
ktmbua 1 month ago
@ktmbua Yes, that is one thing that is very helpful for you to post because rendering becomes 2x the minutes wasted.
