Big deal. My dog had glaucoma. The cost of surgery was about $1,400 and she needed 3 surgeries. Medication for Xalatan is about $90 a bottle, or approximately $3 PER DROP of the substance. Azopt was $120 and would last about a month.

Animals are expensive, and to be a good owner, you have to spend money.
