i had terry do clinics a couple times at store i worked at. he would bring one tech w/ him, and i would help him set up this mammoth kit.....and yes, i even got to play it.
All of you drum virgins that started listening to drummers when the first blast beat came around and want to hate on Bozzio should probably check his work with (in no particular order) : UK,Frank Zappa,Brecker Brothers,Missing Persons,Jeff Beck,Steve Vai,Korn and many more...Then you should just publicly admit that you're full of it.And his kit is set up in 45 min.The trick is "how you break it down".
Sorry I love most Drummers and there styles. There is something about BOZZIO that bugs me. Also what is with his 400 piece drum kit. He is a flake. Honestly when he is playing I would LOVE to see someone walk up beside him and literally BOOT him out of his seat and yell: " STOP !!! Thats fuckin terrible" !!! and then walk off with his drum stool.
@Blankk123 Let's see a posting of your playing. As a drummer, and as a rule of thumb in the drumming community, it's better to learn than to critique. If you can do better, post it.
I have great respect for Terry as any drummer who can make a living behind the drum set. I think him to be a great ambassador for drums and probably a great guy to hang with. With all that said and having listened to hours of his solos and group playing I never hear him play anything that inspires me. I just don't get the monster drum kit, I don't understand it.
@webstercat Exactly my thoughts. This guy plays always the same shit. No change in years, double roll all over some of those millions of toms, he never plays the whole kit. Why have it then? How come this guy is an idol for many is totally beyond me.
does anybody know how much would a kit like that costs? Not that I'm planning to get it!! I'm so f..kin broke that I dont have enough money for a cowbell!!! LoL
I like Terry`s drumming and have always respected his playing but that kit is hilarious. A little overkill there Terry, nobody has that many arms or sticks. Its really cool looking but I mean really..........

I think Bozzio is a great drummer. But PLEASE. PLEASE. I want to see you playing a regular kit. That way you'll show us how great of a drummer you are. Doing more with less is always better.

Free, the DW gives for free.
But if you were to buy it... Not sure, probably around 45,000 - 50,000 BUT thats not what id be worried about, think about the price of all the heads.
