@ryanhere1000 Sephiroth is part of the original FF7 story, which was an absolutely huge hit. Zack was only referenced slightly in cloud's dreams throughout the original FF7. Angeal and Genesis were created simply for FF7 Crisis Core, and to add background to the much loved character Sephiroth, and the then mysterious character Zack.

Advent children is set years after FF7, and sephiroth returns. He was the one closest to realising Jenova's dream, and so she brought him back. The others Failed.

@ryanhere1000 Movie came first, dude. Also, if you watch Advent Children Complete, Zack comes back in flashbacks fairly often. Angeal was dead by the beginning of FF7 and Cloud never met him, therefore would have no reason to remember him. Gen is still somewhat of a wild card and if another game is made for FF7, I'll bet he'll show up again. He's a pretty memorable one. Sephiroth is one of the most well know villians of all time. You'll have to excuse him if he gets lots of air time.
