  • Favorite plinking pistol... put thousands of bulk ammo rounds through it but one day.... it decided it only liked CCI... Ive cleaned and lubed it but it only likes CCI's now my gun dealer buddy said "maybe it is past the life expectancy of a P22 haha" I refuse to give up I love plinking with this pistol...

  • Cool. Dude, the muzzle flash was like in the movies. Really fun in a .22, I bet.

  • @wearetwodoorsdown

Maybe the ammo you were using was loaded too hot. That's usually what happens when a gun blows up like that. Example, using a 9mm round in a pistol chambered for 380 acoustic. I would contact who ever you got the ammunition from and complain or tell them to complain to the ammo manufacturer.

  • Would this weapon be sufficient to carry concealed? I bought on for my wife in pink digital camp lol and now I want one. My chl will be active in a few weeks and I have been looking into just getting one for me. This or the bersa 380 concealed carry. I would really love it if this weapon would be sufficient. Let me know your thoughts nutn, please.

    Thanks a bunch,

    RB

keep doing what you do. :)

  • @ryanberger871 Run good ammo and make sure it is totally reliable and yes it will be fine.

  • Frick missed ya when you came to spokane!

  • Thumbs up if you can see the bullet bounce off the wall in the back ground

  • Que Chingon

  • I have a new model of this pistol and it has fed everything reliably, a great and fun little gun

  • what ammo did u use in this vid? is bulk useable in this? i just got one and havent had time to shoot it yet. u think it will feed rem. gold bulk? mine is a new gen. model. thank you. and awesome vids man!

  • @Aaronbillings should be able to shoot all kinds of bulk. there will be jams in bulk ammo, but very few.

  • nice shooting. looks like a fun pistol. i'll have to give a thumbs up for ms. fancy, good job with the filming.

  • Compared to a ruger mark 2 with a 6" barrel, what would be a better first handgun?

  • just got one , to add to the rest, great vids .

  • Can you please ask Nutn what his thoughts are on the S&W M&P22. Thanks.

  • @Beardeddragon1999 You can do all that, except you still can't spell worth a shit.

  • Hey Nutn', watching this, I'm curious if you're going to do a shooting review of the pk380. I know it's not a 'normal' .380 by any means, but it's a fun one.

  • I purchased a Walther 22 when they first came out and ended up trading it in for a Ruger MkIII shortly there after. It just wasn't very reliable or accurate. The Ruger is in a whole other class.

  • I purchased a Walther 22 when they first came out and ended up trading it in for a Ruger MkIII shortly there after. It just wasn't very reliable or accurate. The Ruger is in a whole other class.

  • I rad the comment about mark III and the other 22 walther way more fun I own alot of 22s when me the kid and my wife go shooting walther p22 mp-15-22 cause they so much fun just good family fun none will go shooting with me if I bring the big gun I say walther and mp and I get a car load

  • Good video I'm gonna go buy two of these Thanks for sharing

  • wat is the prcie range on this gun i want a fun shooting gunn nd i wanna teach my wife how to shoot the smallest pistol i own is the rageing judge mag 6' barrel

  • I love my P22 but it always throws brass directly at my face. Am I the only one?

  • @Beardeddragon1999 Hey DUDE. How about you quit trying to tell a member of an armed service that you're eleven and a better shot than him. I'm pretty sure he definitely knows more than you.

  • My friend has the same pistol and you really need to follow through with the trigger, press and hold it to the rear.

  • Is there any preppers from NYC here?????

  • Aggh, I just bought one but because of the hammer I keep treating it like my .45 and dropping the hammer with a trigger pull. I keep forgetting its a fricking rimfire pistol lol! Only spent 400 on it so I hope its worth it. I see MANY conflicting reviews, and I am wondering now :O Usually Walther is synonymous with quality. Anyways Ineed a cheap plinker. .45 and .44 cost a crapload during the warm months :O

  • YA SPOKAN!!!!! im from lynden

  • This be me first gun.

  • Whats so hard about consistantly hitting the bullseye. You'd haveto be blind to miss just one ! Oiy a vey !

  • i have larger hands...would this still be ok to shoot or should i look for something a little bigger like a sig masquito?

  • Hey there, I know where Sharp Shooters is located, but where is Spokane Rifle Club?

  • This is such a fun gun I've had mine since winter 05. I broke it in with Stingers and Aguila and it shoots the Red Box Wally World Federal no problem.

  • DUDE nice muzzle blast out of that short barrel!

  • damn how do you hold on to it? It has so much recoil......lol!

  • Damn, that is a huge muzzle flash for a .22. Good shooting!

  • Hey Nutn, have you got any experiences with Makarov 9mm? I shooted both, classic steel Makarov 9mm(just once) and Makarow CO2 (many times) which is an close replica of 9mm (feels and looks just like steel 9mm). In my opinion, even if its small sized, its bigger weight helps a lot in accurate shooting:) Correct me if I'm wrong.

ps. I like the look of Walther P99 or P22 or P99 CO2 too. Peace:)

  • Why were you in spokane? did you work at Fair Child AF Base, gust a question i have had.

  • I miss my P99 :(

  • I've heard so much bad crap about the p22, is it really unreliable? I understand no cheap ammo, but even so.

  • Just wanted to say thanks man for all you do-- Keep up the good work

  • @TheGarry91 Thanks, man. I appreciate the support.

  • If you think that 9 months is ridiculous, I have a license and it takes 3 months for a purchase order, and of course we are allowed only 1 gun every 90 days....You guessed it I live in NYC. And of course a 10 rd mag. If its a rifle its a 5 round mag.

Did I mention it not only takes 9 months for a license but also almost $700-900.

    Ya gotta laugh, just laugh.

  • @donfachabella dang and i thought california was bad!

  • r a 16rd clip????????????????/

  • hey can u get a 33rd clip for this

  • Can anyone tell me where I can find the pistol rest their using?

  • what is your favorite all time pistol any caliber

  • Only one question now. Olive or black?

  • Which would you recommend: The Walther p22 or the Ruger Mark III?

  • @cartoonconn i have the mk III hunter and its accurate. i recommand the mk III

  • @cartoonconn

personally as far as reliability is concerned i would recommend a mark III or 22/45 my buddy has had one for years with well over 5000 rds through it and it will eat ANYTHING, that bieng said i have havent had enough range time with a p22 to be too judgemental but the others speak for them selves.

  • first off this is where I was born. Secondly I just held a walther less then 20 minutes ago. hehh.

  • viriginia tech masscre gun

  • @nunvikingsofthesea You're posting that on all the Walther P22 videos.. we don't care!

  • @nunvikingsofthesea If only everyone he shot had a gun, not nearly as many would have died if that was the case.

  • @nunvikingsofthesea

The gun didn't kill the people on it's own, The maniac behind the gun killed them... So i guess we should ban alcohol cos that kills people, and don't go driving around, cos that kills more people than guns do, SO TAKE YOUR ANTIGUN SHIT ELSEWHERE WE DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK, it's assholes like you that want to take away our rights... and guess what, crime goes down when people are allowed to carry guns (that is a fact), SO THINK ABOUT THAT.

  • You think a 11 year old could take it. i shoot 30-30, and .243. I'm average size. im afraid im going to pop it back into my my head from bang bang bang. do you thin it would snap my arm?

  • @camofirekid You could easily take it, im 12 and i shot one with no problem. (lol i dont see anyone having a problem with a .22 but you know)

  • I've heard the plastic slide can slide down while firing and the gun can disassemble its self while cycling.

Also heard of failures to feed do to the design of the gun it's self.

Only held one for a few second never fired I have no experience with it just throwing that out there.

I think the Ruger mark series makes a better plinker. just my .02

  • @BuffaloWarrior7 the slide is not plastic and the gun can oly disassemble itsself if the tab is pulled down on and as far as FTFs go it depends on ammo used cheaper ammo may jam but cci seem to work fine for me

  • @xxMRGRENADExx The disassemble slide down tab is plastic I shouldn't have used "slide".

I've heard the plastic tab can slide down from the recoil as your firing on a long hot day (plastic expands) which causes the slide to fall off when the gun cycles.

Again I have no experience only held the gun in a relatives house never took it shooting. But just wanted to put that out there.

Thanks for clearing that up though.

  • im just curious how you can gauge accuracy..... there is not a single gun made these days that is less accurate than the shooter! but its adequately accurate? hows that work. tell me its adequately easy to shoot or to aquire a target with, that would make sense. but to make it sound like the gun is not accurate....

  • @fordfan09 You are familiar with open sights correct? When your sights are very open (aka corse) there is alot of air between the front sight post and the sides of the rear sight notch. This creates "play" and increases the margin of error in sight alignment. As far as from a bench accuracy yes most guns produced today will group well enough (3in or so at 50 yds). This is by no means terrible but a good bullseye gun will group 1.5 or so at 50.

  • sir, I just noticed that the slide was released automatically when you slammed the magazine in, and it happened few times. was it a malfunction or its just one of the added features? i dont really have that wide knowledge regarding walthers.

  • Hey mister....uh, shouldn't you be standing up not using a rest to demonstrate? Usually resting is just for sighting in a weapon or maybe letting a person that has never fired a weapon before shoot .....but hey, I'm no doctor. Thanks for the review though. It was fun to watch and no waste of time.

    Thanks again, DJ

  • Nice shooting range. Is this in Seattle WA? Can I have the address for it or the name and rough location of this shooting range? Thanks.

  • This looks like the range in Jackass 2 when Johnny Knoxville gets shot by the shotgun riot control slug!!!!

  • DUDE YOU HAVE 666 VIDEOS UPLOAD 1 MORE

  • Just back from the range where Wife shot her new (bought last week) P-22 (NOT pink). She ran 100 rounds of Winchester through it, not a single misfire or other mal-issue. She also likes (prefers, actually) my Ruger 22/45 Mark III. When Mama's not happy, nobody's happy, so I think I just gained a Walther, and lost a Ruger.

  • Cool! Thanks for posting

  • I bought the Walther P22 for my girlfriend last weekend. She had to have it in pink which I initially didn't like. But she has been thrilled with it, and I enjoyed shooting it as well. It was worth the higher price tag to get someone new to handguns pumped up about going out to the range.

  • @shleesauce I love the pink too..and I've heard purists talk down about it, but girls like pink..and guns. ;) -- Veri

  • Nice. I went to take a look at one today but couldn't touch it. See I live in NY and there's a nine month wait for a pistol permit. So until the state decides it's safe and allows me to touch one of these dangerous little plinkers I'll just have to satisfy myself by going to the range with my pre-ban AR or remington 870. I'd laugh if it wasn't so sad.

  • @jsloey 9 months!!! That is amazingly ridiculous. -- Veri

  • @jsloey so glad i live in ohio i can buy my gun in 20 minutes and take it home jnust got my ccw hope ny changes their laws

  • @bang2loud1981 The are...this month they're trying to make it illegal to buy or own a gun that doesn't microstamp a serial number on every cartridge as it's fired. Stay alert, not just to physical threats but to the political threats to your freedoms.

  • @jsloey 9 months? you could produce a child before you end up getting a new gun. dear lord. im sorry you live in a communist state. while it is you today, we all shall fall

  • @jsloey Well of course! You see, they have to protect the criminals rights ya know. They wouldn't want law abiding honest citizens to be able to just buy a pistol to defend themselves against the slime of humanity. Yet one more reason this Tennessee boy doesn't want anything to do with places like that. Last time I checked though NY is still in the U.S. and you're free to pack up and get out and move to a better state. Don't forget to hold up a middle finger out the window as you drive out. LOL!

  • @vetryder bro i totally agree.me being from nyc n all i had to get outta there .now im in good ol virginia!

  • @jsloey Sweet jumping jesus, I would look into moving to a free state.

  • @jsloey I live in NY also but most people i know get their permit in 5-6 months. what county are you in i know some counties are harder then others.

  • @grampa243 Monroe County. Got the permit on December 23rd - Merry Christmas. Filed in June so that's about 6 month. Process has gotten faster from what I understand. It all depends which Judge gets the paperwork.

  • @jsloey i filed last month hope it don't take me till Christmas :)

  • try using a laser on these p22, way more fun

  • Spokane Wa!!!! Used to live in Deer Park I certainly miss the pac nw

  • "funner" more fun* just saying

  • thats some mad muzzle blast from a .22

  • 7:30 was some good grouping.. i was gonna say you had bad aim until that point.. haha

  • Ive had a p22 before, it was a fun gun, but I sold that and bought a sig mosquito .22, i prefer that over the p22 in my opinion

  • @tatervader502 how come? Im looking at both right now

  • @JohnFromSpace

Well the mosquito fit better in my hands ( I have large hands)

And the p22 seemed to jam more than the mosquito did.

Its also a good gun to just go to a range and have some fun cheap shooting.

I also like the sights on the sig better than the p22

I dont exactly remember, but I think it's easier to take apart and clean and everything

  • @tatervader502 yep and you can convert it too which is awesome...I stuck with the walther the sig over here was way expensive and the walther cost 130 dollars less than the sig. plus eh I just want it for plinking and stuff.

  • i own a p22 and i love the gun. mine shoots some pretty nice groups and its a really nice concealed carry pistol. my only negative insight is the fact it is so picky with ammo, i like to shoot cheap .22 ammo for plinking just becasue i shoot it so much. CCI gets expensive. i agree with the sights, they aren't that great but all and all an awesome gun.

  • The true beauty of the .22 is it's silence

  • sounds like a cap gun

  • Unfortunately here in the good ole UK - we can't do this - an absolute joke of a country - can just about use an airgun though - lol

  • Yeah every time I visit the UK I can't wait to leave, I'd rather live in some Middle East toilet

  • wow never seen the flash on a .22 pistol like that before

  • Its nice to see that my P22 isn't the only one that throws its brass wherever it feels like, with no consistent pattern. Its only ever consistent when I'm trying to show it off, at which point it does its best to arc the hot brass directly INTO my shooting glasses.

  • is that a bullet hole in the wall over mrsfancy's left shoulder? if it is lol dude

  • you shouldn't use a rest it doesn't help your learning or improving at all

  • I have to say i'm not really a huge fan of my p22. It does have the 5 inch barrel which makes a pain in the ass to break down. It's pretty good for what it is though and and I really like the big muzzle blast from such a small gun. But if anyone's planning on getting one I'd recommend not getting the extended barrel.

  • i have one w/out the ext- i love it i can shoot it all day for $30-$40 bucks i find it's pretty accurate my wife even enjoys shooting it and she has very small hands

i can get 4in. groups from 15ft. standing.

  • Definately a fun plinker, I love my little P22.

  • a mi me salio pesima me dio muchos problemas

  • I'm extremely jealous of that range. The only ones at which I've shot have been far less accommodating space-wise to the other things a shooter brings along. Very nice! Thanks for the P22 video, too. :)

  • i love mine

  • iveheard the give you slide bite real easily cause the gun is sooo small

    true?

    false?

  • completely untrue, i have pretty large hands and i have not experienced slide bite a single time, its a great little gun for the purpose it was built for.

  • I also have large hands and a p22 and it's never been a problem. The slid rides about a 1/4" above where the top of the grip rolls back.

  • woah thats a huge muzzleblast for a .22

  • @LavaMountainKat

Fuck yeah this thing is sweet! I think i'm going to go get one today,

  • @LavaMountainKat It's got a fairly short barrel even for a .22, so that iis probably a factor.

  • i always thought guys lived in northern Nevada or Colorado?

  • P22 IS AWESOME LOL

the aiming is unbelivable for a small semi auto

  • I love my Walther P22... I keep it next to the bed cuz its small and easy to operate. Fun at the range too, like Nutn points out. But I would rather go with something a lil larger cal for conceal carry, something 9mm or .40 cal... Just sayin.

  • im 10 an i own one its very fun too shoot

  • What the fuck!? Your 10 and you have a gun?

  • I had my first gun at 12 my friend at 9 and my dad when he was 10. Not a big deal, as long as you know how to handle it.

  • I can understand if your dad owns it and takes care of it but by the way this guy is talking he mantains it and stuff. I don't know maybe it's fine, just sounds a little odd to me.

  • @matthewt2010 with 9? he is a little kid, he could kill someone! stupid americans

  • @DerMeisterGamer We are "Stupid Americans" because we exercise our second amendment? Let me take a wild guess and say there is heavily enforced gun control, wherever it is you are from.

  • @matthewt2010 maybe you are right, maybe not, in america were so many killing sprees, they were only possible because the kids had guns or had stolen guns from their fathers.

  • @DerMeisterGamer You should take a look at the opposite side of the argument. How many robberies or muggings have been prevented via the second amendment? Once again it all comes down to it not being a big deal as long as one knows how to safely operate it.

  • @matthewt2010 what do you expect? that a nine year old boy protect his father with a weapon, that even not fits in his hands?

  • @DerMeisterGamer The fit of the gun has nothing to do with this argument.

  • @matthewt2010

do you know what? when your nine year old friend shoots you, or his mommy, or his. daddy...you will be able to know what i mean!

  • @DerMeisterGamer Again I tell you- there are always negatives, but you have to see that the positives outweigh the negatives. By your Youtube ID I assume you are German or from a German speaking country, as it means "The Master Gamer" in German. Remember around 1938 in Germany when Hitler was in the beginning of his rule of Europe? He started in Germany and as many of us know Germany had gun control, or "Waffengesetz." Nothing has ever happened in the US that compares to what Hitler did then.

  • @matthewt2010 ok, so you think the negatives are that the child could kill someone he doesnt even want to kill and the positivs are that he can protect himself? thats madness AND, it has nothing to do with hitler. and another thing: we had killing sprees in germany, and we learnd and intensify the gun control or "waffengesetz".

  • @DerMeisterGamer You still aren't understanding what I'm saying. There are negatives; there are positives. My opinion is that the positives heavily outweigh the negatives, and your opinion is that the negatives heavily outweigh the positives. I'm just fighting for my opinion and it looks like neither of us will change. So this argument could go on forever. I was just using Hitler as an example of what COULD happen when gun control is present, not that it will always happen.

  • @matthewt2010 and i still asking you: is that he kill someone he doesnt really want a negativ thing in your eyes, and can this thing outweight the postivis? good luck by gettin killed.

  • @DerMeisterGamer Bad things happen; people die. Yeah it's sad but I'd rather have a gun and not need it than have not have one and need it. Or "I'd rather be safe than sorry." Would you rather have a few people die from gun accidents each year, or a whole country being completely controlled by its government?

  • @matthewt2010 there was no "gun control' in Germany until war time. You could even buy guns from catalogs until that time.

  • @DerMeisterGamer Assumption...

  • @vgamedude12 yeah im starting to think i gota late start i got a mossberg 500 cruiser @ 13..

but i shot guns since i was 11

  • @shaqvernon12345

I have shot guns some when I was younger, but I want to start having some more.

    I'm 14.

  • @vgamedude12 lol do what i did.. find a 22 in ya granddads closet he forgot about..just dnt run out of bullets

  • @shaqvernon12345

Lol. 22s are cool. My dad has a Henry Golden boy and I really want to shoot it, I hope I can pretty soon. Looks like a nice lever action.

  • @vgamedude12 cool i cant wait til i get my hands on a lever action..

  • @shaqvernon12345

Ahh yeah. It's nice. I have been touching it for a while now LOL!

  • your lucky im 19 and only shot when i was 16 then at a friends house i shot a 22 lr and that was it i never owned one because my grandparents won't allow me to.

  • I know I should get a Ruger, but I'm going to get p22 or Sig mosquito? What do you guys think P22 or mosquito

  • I own the P22 and it is fun fun fun

  • get a ruger p95

  • I have a p22, and honestly I got it for the looks and to match my p99. But the thing is super accurate(i have the long barrel) and a ton of fun. When I go shooting with friends they all love shooting it.

  • im getting this mines coming with compensator

  • i am a doctor. you can kill someone easily with a .22.

if someone is running at you with a bayonet of course you'd want something like a .45.

  • Any firearm can easily kill a human being, all that is needed is a shot to a vital area such as the head or heart.

  • 4 .22 slugs to the face will stop anybody.

If you're not aiming to kill, don't aim at all

  • @heatherrose2006 Yup...a 22 will kill you just as dead.

  • @heatherrose2006 This guys comment is what give US - the gun owners - a bad image. Why do you have to aim to kill? Unless he is seriously packing some large fully automatic assault rifle and appears to not stop after the first shot, THATS when you shoot to kill. A shot to the leg can seriously mess with someones psychology ----You NEVER shoot to kill, you shoot to END THE THREAT.----

  • @DevinRAR When I took my SDA class we did our usual shoot/no shoot situations etc. One student asked "what if we just shoot to maim them" aka a leg shot. Our instructor replied, "When you opt to use lethal force you are using lethal force." If you draw your gun and fire to wound/maim you are using the wrong tool for the job and can subject yourself to civil suit and criminal charges. Shoot to stop the threat but the fastest surest stop is to place your rounds where they will kill the fastest.

  • @DevinRAR if you level your sights on another human being it damn well better be for a good enough reason to end that persons life, and if you have reason enough to end their life you better end it. shooting to maim only leads to law suits and possible criminal charges. its hard enough to get away with it (whether you're right or wrong) w/o the other persons version of the story.

  • @DiddledOnce True, many instructors actually pretty much tell who their training to shoot to kill if your going to use the gun.

  • @DevinRAR plus, shooting to maim is hard. so many arterys and vitals to think about and in a clutch situation like that the adrinaline and fear are going to be raging. i can only hope im never put in a situation where i feel it is nessicary to draw a bead on another person.

  • @heatherrose2006 As if you ever had to shoot at anyone.

  • thank you doctor if you aim at the head it goes in side bounces around in theire skull and basicly it mushes theire insides

  • Comment removed

  • .22 is just as deadly as anything else and should have all respect of the larger cals when handling one.

  • I like to think of it this way, If I had a .22 pointed at me I'm going to stop, if I got shoot while in a blind rage with a .22 more then once I woulsn't make it very far. So unless the other uy has a gun a .22 isn't "too little" gun. IMHO

  • which one do you recommend?

    the P22 or the P99?

  • P99, but I personally would go for the HK USP .45 ;)

  • both

  • I have both, The p22 is great for shooting 1000 rd.s in one day. I could never afford that. The p22 also has a lot less recoil so if you practice with it you don't learn to flinch while shooting(totally screws your shot) but at the end of the day when I'm sitting at a bar I still can say that I have a 9mm and feel like a man.

  • As muc
