Allam wrote that song bcoz he n Jinnah both loved india but they wanted independant islamic states within indian dominion.autonomous states. But that evil n rascal Nehru didnot want that and he forced muslims to demand a separarte country. Had he accepted th 14 points of Jinnah , India would not have been divided and would have been a much more prosperous country.

Allama Iqbal never went to Pakistan. He died in 1938. Pakistan was created in 1947. He never wanted to parition his country, unforutnately Jinnah played his own politics after 1939 when Iqbal passed away.
