  • Thanks for posting this.

  • This was a great show. I used to watch this with my mom who was part of the baby boom generation.

  • Cosby Show was the new hit on NBC. Magnum PI was the old hit on CBS. ABC had a throw away time slot and put on a fabulous show. Would love to see this type of show on any network. Oprah this is a perfect fit for you.

  • Sadly, this show was doomed at the beginning. remember it was on Thursday nights...up against "Cosby"... So....

Linda Ellerbee used to joke about the fact people would 'watch" Cosby, and "tape" her show, to watch later.

  • @JWROWE3 Actually, it was "Tape Cosby; watch Our World." That didn't work.

ABC pulled that same stunt a decade later with "Watch Murder One and tape ER"...we didn't fall for it as well.

  • this was a very good show and abc pulled the plug after saying how little it cost to produce

  • I loved that show starting high school when It came on it was only on for two years I think cant even buy the DVD's from the show

  • I remember that show. I liked it at the time and it was probably one of the last attempts to put something intellectual on at prime time. If I remember the show only lasted a few seasons until it was pulled and all the intellectual programming went to cable (of course, now, it is no longer there either).

  • The "TV as Time Machine" technique was great. Decades of important news footage languish in vaults when it could be used like this today. Shows like this would be constructive replacements for today's "talking head" cable imbeciles who do nothing but divide us.

  • This show was fantastic. I was one of the few who watched it while the rest of the world watched The Cosby Show and Family Ties. Could you upload the entire episode?

  • I *LOVED* this show! It's probably the best thing that any of the "Big Three" networks have ever done -- which is why it's so surprising that ABC did it! The History Channel *wishes* that it could measure up to this. And, yeah, Linda Ellerbee is *HOT!!!*

  • I loved this show in high school and this was my favorite episode (being born in 1969) I had it taped on good old Video cassette....but lost it over the years I have looked everywhere for it....you must post more or tell me where I can find episodes of this show...Thanks for posting!

  • WOW, I remember watching this show / episode! Could you PLEASE post the section on the moon-launch (right where your video cuts off), I would really appreciate it. thaks for posting.
