Mannnn. Why lie? You're a big guy and you should be able to create a pretty large amount of clubhead speed, but a 300 yard 3 wood with a stock shaft is pretty crazy. You've got to have a flawless smash factor for that. And look at how far you're looking to the right after you hit it. It's obvious that ball STARTED 30 yards off line, and probably faded even more after that. You sway in your backswing, you swung your arms, and your hips aren't even clear a frame before impact. GROW UP.

To swing that fast while keeping the trail heel grounded well past impact is a feat in itself. Whenever I try to gain more speed I focus on faster hip turn, but my heel always comes up which tends to cause me to lose my spine angle and shank it right. Accuracy/consistency is always treasured, but a little distance never hurts.

Nice swing dude...I'd like to see a bit more rotation/ turn with your shoulders but espicially your lower body thats why your so flippy through impact.. hey bud good hit. im an avid golfer with a 3 cap unlike all of these bullshitters complaining that this is impossible.

1. someone said something about having to play since you were 5 and need to be a bodybuilder? muscle mass has very litte to do with distance... shoulder turn, wrist angle, and swing speed generated usually from a quick hip turn.

2. yeah... your accuracy probably isn't going to be great when you're trying to pound it, but on a conservative swing you should be okay

Have to laugh at the jealous comments by some people. It is completely possible to hit a 3 wood 295. You just need to build some resistance into your swing. i do it by limiting my lower body turn and making a fairly compact swing like the guy in this video. The power builds naturally. i never feel like im hitting it that hard.

Yeah, tour pros hit average drives of 280-310, but that's their average and they don't go after it too much. I've hit 4 drives in the last two years that were 340-355 yds, 4 drives outta a few hundred, basically 1%. My typical drive is 290-300, that's 50 yds more than typical 1% of the time. Why do you care so much that this guy hit his 3 wood farther that you once?

295 with a 3 wood is simple if you perform the right move and create lag in your swing I'm only 15 and I have hit it that far before with my 3 wood and 320 drives down the middle with driver you just need to know certain moves in your swing to create the power

I get 240 yard with the 3wood from the deck if i make good contact and i have more lag in my swing than the average golfer. I'm off 11 because of my distance and control, thing is, i can't putt for shit.
