I don't if this is just me, but whenever I start to attack with one player, my computer teammates don't come up when they can (they're not offside) and then i can't reall do anything to score a goal cause defenders are on me and my teammates are basically never open

People call me "Bruiser Brown" becuase im known for my maxed out checking and defencive skills. anyway i wanted to watch a video on fighting becuase i was lacking the ability of succesfull fights. I watched the how to fight and i gotta say it would probably work considering the simily to his example of the other game. anyway i cant fully live up to the expectations of Bruiser Brown if i cant fight for crap. so I will test it out and probably win. Another thing that really helps me is changing your camera view to classic, It's so much better than the Be A Pro - Low (default) camera.

@mujicava tap the left stick 3 times and ur guy gets a boost of speed, just beaware this tires ur players fast!!!

@polster300 AI learning is on when u play default u have to turn that off of change your strategy up or it will become very hard

@Veivari95 on the fly its possible but i normally do it in a regular game during the whistle but its possible for it to be during gameplay the only thing im not sure of is if it wrks on bap... but it is alot to think about im a center as well... however at main menu im pretty sure thats about the only thing that wrks on things u can change on the line

I`ve noticed a lot of folks out there still using the toe drag curl wrist shot (cheese goal). I was wondering how this is achieved. I only want to know it to do it back, it really takes the fun out of the game. Thanks

@campbellmaccampbell take the right stick go left or right rotate back and then push forward and if u wanna leg kick click in the right stick in. but ur right it beats the goalie just about everytime aslong as u aim right but hope this helps ya out.

Hey man. I'm having a hard time intercepting passes. What am I doing wrong. And how can I protect from poke checks. When I play online I give up so many turnovers from poke checks. They are all over me, I usually don't even have a chance to pass. Thanks.

@bobbybudds well intercepting passes is not an easy thing its more about postioning and bing in the rite place at the rite time. as for stoping poke checks if u hold the a button (if ur on 360) it will block the puck and then u can try and move away from them.

Any tips about scoring/shooting? Mr CPU seems to be veeery good at it. Should I for example quickly change my aim with left stick?

@alst1974 a quick move wont do to much if u quickly change ur direction that does a whole lot against defenders and the goalie. but if u aim top shelf glove side or stick side that helps put alot of shots in the back of the net its hard when u first start cause ur shooting stats r low but get ur aim then pwr up and ull c a big change.

I need help. I kind of suck offensively. I can defend well. The problem is. When I charge in at the other end for a goal. There's always 2 wingers ready to hit me down. I try to deek them, but they always hit me before I can even pull of a move!

@Just2Lazzzzy yeah it happens to me to sometimes u have to start the deke way b4 u get to the defense and then u can sk8 around them fairly easily. but the best way to count that is to pass it off to another winger and let them take the heat so they can dump it back to u for the shot. also if u stop and shoot or fake a shot it will give u some space also. but dont b afraid to turn down the difficulty as well. and last thing dfense is the begining of everything without d u lose so just keep it up

Thanks man. I normally do well on All Star difficulty. I like some challenge. I just never thought of passing to a winger before. Truthfully! Now I pretty much get a goal every time I go in for the attack. Just needed to be a team mate rather then hog the puck. Thanks again man. Power plays are the main key really!

thanks for the tips, i really love the game although its my first nhl game.. i'm having too much trouble with the shootouts me and roommate we spend around 10min just till one of us get a lucky shot and win the match lol

@amazing9159 lol yeah thats how i got better just do shootout mode over and over until u can beat the computer then the rest comes easy... the aiming in this 1 isnt hard either ive played the games since 07 and this 1 is really the most well rounded of all.
