It must have been cause the song was so fast and he was probably not at his best that day, i have never really heard much live stuff so i dunno.
all i know is Bach is the king, he has certainly sharpened up his game nowadays

he was only 5 years out of Skid Row when this was recorded. His screams are different, and voice is a little flatter but I wouldn't say he sounds "old".
