The Hi-Hat was just from an overhead. I didn't have a individual mic on it. They were cheap Samson mics going into a Mackie 8 channel mixer directly into my camera. No audio tweeking at all. RVP

I aam truly not trying to be funny. I spent 2 days recording this DVD. Over 18 hours in 2 days by myself. I got very slap happy and had a lot of fun. I didn't try to be funny. I just enjoy what I do. If you are to much of a "Stick in the Mud" then maybe you shouldn't be drumming. Drums are for releasing and just letting go and having fun. Try it sometime. You may be surprised, and enjoy it. RVP

Since you're an extremely good drummer I assume you've been playing for many years, I'v been playing the drum set itself for about a year and I've been playing in my school's percussion and drum line (I'm in high school by the way). Do you have any tips you could give me to practice so I can really build a strong core?

Practice hand technique. Rudiments and drum pad stuff. CHeck out my DVD for great ways to apply this stuff to the kit.
