One will notice that the guys that can get away with "stack and tilt" have exceptionally fast hips/lower body. It's a lousy swing to emulate for the average player.

hmmm.... elkington is not stack and tilt... hes a student of the golfing machine by homer kelly... which gave birth to the principles surrounding morad and stack and tilt and other swing philosophies... but hes been doing this for a long time. if he was stack and tilt i guarentee theyd be using his likeness rather than tom scherrer or tommy armour the 3rd on the im stacked commercials lol.

Elk was working with Andy Plummer and Mike Bennet at the time this video was taken. Besides that I know this personally, it is painfully obvious by the drill elkington is doing in this video.

It is a certainty that Elk was working with Mike and Andy at the time and it is a terrific video by the way - don't forget as you watch this that many times a player must exaggerate something one way in order to get to even a small portion of the exaggeration in their real motion. This is a great example of that.

The rehersal swing has the spine tilting towards the target. The actual swing has the spine pretty much centered and continues to tilt away from target to the finish. Great golf swing. Jackie Burke says that Elk has 'soft power'.
