That is awesome! What exercises did he do to get the upper body strength to do that? My son has been in tumbling for a year he can do splits, round-offs, and backhand springs with help, but we really want his upper body strength to be like your sons. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Sorry, but Tristan is my son; and I have been teaching gymnastics for fourteen years. I know that his form is sloppy, and we are working on it, but I simply disagree that what he is soing is "dangerous," any more so than is inherent in the sport of gymnastics to begin with, anyway.

Holy crap.
I have to do that in cheer practice like every day and my pecs hurt for like four days straight, and mine still don't even look that good.
