A boy does need a positive male role model but so does a girl. I know there are several single mothers who do wonderful jobs (my mom included) but only a man can be a man. Even a transgendered man can't give the proper insight because he didn't grow up as a male. Children need both parents and a lot rides on what kind of man is in the child's life.
OMG these first episodes with Angela and the way she "used to be" got on my nerves!! That's why a kid (especially a boy needs a FATHER) for Christ sakes she wants to make that kid into a little girl
Thanks for the post -one of my favorite shows - and hope that all those people into reality shows get a chance to watch stuff like this - to be entertained and to escape, as television was meant to do.
I remember watching "Family Matters," "Who's the Boss," "Full House," "Kids Incorporated," and "The Mickey Mouse Club" all as a kid, but I don't really remember watching this one as much. Oh, and how can you forget "Saved By the Bell?!" Can't leave that one out! haha TVin the early 90's was so much better than the shit that is out today. I even remember watching "Inspector Gadget" and "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!" God, how I miss the 90's and wish to relive that era again!
Gotta miss the 80s... Half the shows on TV now absolutely SUCK. This type of comedy and drama just WORKS, why can't we go back to that instead of focusing so much on cheap jokes and stupid Jersey Shore lingo?
@MONSter1391 I know i sit with my daughter every night in her room because she wants me to watch tv with her.And it was the night before the last day of school . So my husband comes home from work because he owns a night club and wakes her up at MIDNIGHT 4 more hours of tv. She dose not want to get up for school making me leave her home with her father because i'm a theacher so i need to go
@Jm06261963 The original ending for the series, as proposed by the writers, was for Angela and Tony to get married. ABC executives however balked at this ending and were supported by Tony Danza, who was against having Tony and Angela get married in the series finale. So the series ended with Tony and Angela breaking up but with Tony appearing on Angela's doorstep to apply for the housekeeper job in a scene that is almost identical to the opening scene in the pilot episode
I loved this show so much! We had a version of it here in the UK, but I always preferred the US original! Great chemistry between the actors and lots of harmless fun! Thanks for posting. Wish the whole final episode was on Youtube...
He still looks pretty damn good! He's going to be 58 on the 21st of April. And let's face it; there are some 20-30 year olds that aren't in as good as shape as he is!
