@Darkit2099 Mine doesn't have a FR on it so I couldn't really tell you too much about bends with a whammy bar. It has Grover locking tuners and they keep in tune pretty nicely when I do finger bends.

@metalnation73 It will hold its tune just fine since it has locking tuners. However, the grooves in the nut aren't big enough to hold anything over probably an 11 (and that's pushing it). If you are going to put heavy strings on and you don't want it to de-tune, you need to take it to a shop and have them file the nut so that you can fit the strings comfortably in there. An exception to this would be if you bought the version with a Floyd Rose, in which case the strings should fit fine.
Nice man, its a really good guitar, i tried it out at guitar center today, its so easy to use that neck man! its an amazing guitar!! wish it was a bit cheaper, but its worth the price, ur one lucky dude! definantly plan on getting this later on

@KingofPho75 I played one yesterday at guitar center, it did have a coil tap. Its nice, you can get a strat kind of sound out of using both pickups as single coil. I dont think it had an emg 81 though, it was another type with the emg 85.

@TheSupermonkeypants The muffle sound has nothing to do with the treble setting on the amp. It's how the mic is placed. Turning a mic on it's side as opposed to directly towards the amp will give it a warmer feel. So the muffle sound is really a factor of this video being recorded with a camera mic, the fact that the camera (and therefore the mic) is turn almost all the way away from the source of the sound, and the fact that the source of the sound is computer speakers.
@FamGuitarist It feels pretty nice. It's a set neck so it's easier to hit the upper frets than on a bolt on. Get it set up by a pro and have the action lowered as much as possible...throw on your strings of choice and you'll be ready to go.
@savagesanity you can easily lower the action yourself... with the bridge and trussrod...no need for pro's at all... learn to do it yourself for free :)

Hello....i am about to buy this guitar asap but though you already have it i'd like to ask you a question..My old guitar loose its tuning very easy (has a licenced under fr patents bridge) and i don't want to have the same problems with my new one. I like all the features this guitar has but can it hold its tuning ?? From what i have read, the TonePros bridge does a very good job but i haven't played yet a guitar with such bridge..

My heart is set to get an esp ec1000 in either vintage black or silverburst but I have recently found a hellraiser on craigslist for a steal about $450 perfect condition too. My only things against the hellraiser is that every time I play it at guitar center Im am discourage by how poorly its set up. What do you think?

@KurisuDikei lol i have the exact same guitar incudling the pickups its just that the guitar is the older model. the battrey life is pretty long i changed mine about 5 months ago with a 9v battery and its and the mulitmeter now reads 8.8 on the battery life lol thats a pretty long battery life id say...
@triviumfan141 i got mine used i got it for $450 in perfect condition look at mi review the regular price for this is $900 but im not really sure about the sale plus the tax. Also be aware this is the 2006 model not the new hellrasier c-1 which has 81/89w so it would be way more difficult to find these one's but im not sure wen u can buy the new 1 u can change the pickups i havn't seen any1 do that before. hope this helps ;)
Very nice bro. I want this guitar, the standard version if I can help it because I'm not about looks but rather about the effort I put into it. I just don't have the money yet and even if I did my Line 6 Spider 3 30-watt amp probably wouldn't do this guitar justice tone-wise. But at least I have goals. lol Keep rockin'! \m/

@Jigsaw662 Id say go with the c1. Its cheaper for one thing. Its down to your own preference though. I have a c1 but i dont have an ltd h1001 deluxe the closest thing i have is an sc500 from the 2002 line that I put seymour duncans into. The sc500 cost 1600 and the schecter cost half that and is the better guitar. Ive played a good few ltds and the 1000 series are nice guitars but id say buy a schecter and save some money or spend a little more and get an actual esp.
@Jigsaw662 Actually scrap what i said about the price cos I just checked around and h1001 deluxe are way cheaper than i thought (over here theyre way more expensive) Still though id still go with the schecter.
I have almost the exact same setup for recording! haha only my UX1 has the black plate instead of red. Also the pickup combo in the older model of the schecter, in my opinion, is was better seeing as how I would never need to send it to single coil mode lol.

The 81tw-89 suck balls! they are so weak....not made for metal. The 81-85 is totally the way to go. Just got the crappy 81tw-89 switched to 81-85. Bought it with the others because I liked the feel of it and I got it bran new at a great price.
Yea, the 81tw isn't nearly as hot. Sure they are a little more versatile....but I don't really hear a major difference when they are tapped and when they are in humbucker mode. They are more of a rock pickup.

Just bought a factory second one of these (81+85 - cause thats the best setup :) ) from your tone im delighted i did ! Also... Awesome playing man, reviews from decent players playing what the guitar is build for is how to truly sell a product to the end user.
Those came in my Hellraiser and I think they suck. I swapped mine out with the 81-85. The 81tw-89 combo didnt have enough juice for me. No real Crushing tone with them.

Very nice bro. I want this guitar, the standard version if I can help it because I'm not about looks but rather about the effort I put into it. I just don't have the money yet and even if I did my Line 6 Spider 3 30-watt amp probably wouldn't do this guitar justice tone-wise. But at least I have goals. lol Keep rockin'! \m/

@Jigsaw662 Id say go with the c1. Its cheaper for one thing. Its down to your own preference though. I have a c1 but i dont have an ltd h1001 deluxe the closest thing i have is an sc500 from the 2002 line that I put seymour duncans into. The sc500 cost 1600 and the schecter cost half that and is the better guitar. Ive played a good few ltds and the 1000 series are nice guitars but id say buy a schecter and save some money or spend a little more and get an actual esp.

I have almost the exact same setup for recording! haha only my UX1 has the black plate instead of red. Also the pickup combo in the older model of the schecter, in my opinion, is was better seeing as how I would never need to send it to single coil mode lol.

The 81tw-89 suck balls! they are so weak....not made for metal. The 81-85 is totally the way to go. Just got the crappy 81tw-89 switched to 81-85. Bought it with the others because I liked the feel of it and I got it bran new at a great price.

Yea, the 81tw isn't nearly as hot. Sure they are a little more versatile....but I don't really hear a major difference when they are tapped and when they are in humbucker mode. They are more of a rock pickup.

The single coil tone is only optional. It's push and pull knobs, making it single coil or humbucker tone.

Those came in my Hellraiser and I think they suck. I swapped mine out with the 81-85. The 81tw-89 combo didnt have enough juice for me. No real Crushing tone with them.
