There are no real dungeon "types," at least not on purpose. Stuff like double dungeons are a glitch that happens on the edge of chunks.

My first minecraft adventure: 0:43 I found one of those in my first day of playing minecraft in a snow biome,a full room of zombies.(it was a 5x8 hole).I was like wtf is this...then i saw a chest, i was trying to beat the zombies to reach the chest without a weapon beacuse I didn't know how to craft it then i got killed and spawned far away from the dungeon.

you forgot bedrock dungeons

due to spawn generator bug, if a dungeon is in bedrock lvl, the mossy cobblestone will replace the bedrock making a way to get into the void.

Type in this seed: Quesadila. Then walk forward and turn left and you will see a dungeon in sand and if you dig you will find another one . Water does get into one side but can easily be filled. I hope I have given you a good seed :))

@1UnProGamer i tried that seed on 1.8 and i instantly found 7 seeds, at least 16 coal, AND 8 iron partly submerged. oh, and only 1 tree, witch i rly liked cuz i hate 1.8 forrests.
