I really like this because it shows how innocence and curiosity can have terrible consequences, which is true in real life, though obviously not in this way. I don't know why so many people say it's so deporessing and frightening, sure it's pretty ominous, but this feels almost like a snippet of a story so you can imagine any sort of beginning and end to it. At least that's the way I saw it. I thought it was great though. :) The animation and music are both brilliant.

MAYBE THIS kind of story shouldnt ever be done. some of my friends are scared of dolls. which I consiedering silly. but probablly they have seen some movies like yours.. we are responsible for artistic talent which is given to us, not to harm, but to builld others.. this is not doing that.. it is actually very sickish.. :(

@KISTOVI So art always has to be positive and uplifting? Some of the best art evokes negative feelings like fear and sadness and suspense. Saying that it can't be that way is pretty closed-minded. It would be boring if all art was simply fluffy and childish, and besides if things like this freak you or others out, then just don't watch it/ look at it, it's as simple as that. For instance I don't like horror movies because they scare me, but I don't bad mouth them, I just don't watch them.

A red headed girl walking past the shop would have been a bit too obvious. The fact that all we see is the image of the next victim already tells us what will happen but leaves us with room to have to imagine it ourselves or 'put the dots together'. It's more creepy/effective that way :)

I watched this because there were some negative comments about the story so naturally I had to see form myself. Wow, this is really good, and a great story. Nice touch with the doll on the bike trying to get out of the shop. All together a very good short !! Thanks for the art !

This is horrible. It is without a doubt the worst short I have ever seen. Not only is the music out of touch, but the storyline is attrocious: Hey look at this cute kid, oh guess what she's going to get trapped inside a doll. This is not art. It's not even good film. It is the laziest plot development ever. The fact is that there is not plot, it could have been presented in one image. The other major problem is that the child is the antagonist. No sane person can identify with this.

It has a plot, but keep in mind that it is 5 minutes long. Even a world-famous short film critic like you wouldn't have enough time to create an identifiable plot. Give it a chance, it's just a fun film. :)
