I think astras aren't a good car to learn in cos the high dash makes it difficult to see out of espcially for someone who is only 5' 6", don't know about corsas, never drove one. also BSM have started to use Fiat 500 now probably cos they are cheap, they are even worse than astras.

I Learned (3 years ago) in a Rover Metro. If you learn to drive that everything else is a piece of piss.

Corsa's are fantastic for learners, you'll get used to it very quickly. Easy to drive and very comfortable.

How can u like the interior its the worst thing ever. I had a 2008 plate for 2 weeks before the air con messed up! i got rid of it and now got a reliable golf. Thats the car Bsm shld have.

In Finland driving schools must have cars they can take ABS out. The students are still teach to brake and emergency turn without abc on the ice. And in Finland they put you drive directly to the traffic before teaching you the car handling. You will learn it in the next traffic lights.

In motorbike its up side down. They teach you to drive 40 meter in 25 seconds and making do 4x8 turns on parking lot. When you can do that you are ready to the test.You should learn that in 4 x 20 min lessons
