I like the different sight setups, but there have been arguments made that sight alignment in the center of the rear aperture may not be necessary. As long as you put the front sight post on target it should not be affected by a parallax shift. There is a working theory called parallax suppression where it basically says that you can basically line up the front sight anywhere (inside the ring) and it will still hit POA. Center mass hold produces a faster acquisition. You don't have the extra step of estimating the size of the lollipop to know where to hold.
