thanks for posting. very informative. what was the reason for the hooks being barbless again? shall i remove the barb from all my hooks?

The hooks we use are barbless as they are easier to remove when unhooking and this causes less hook damage to the fish than trebles with barbs.
It is also easier for the fish to shed the lure if they bust you on coral etc.
We have not found that we loose fish by using barbless or de-barbed hooks as long as you keep the fish under tension when playing it.
