Pollyanna isn't supposed to be anyone in the game... Have you ever listened to the lyrics? They say "You can call me Pollyanna, say I'm crazy as a loon"  Why would she be telling someone to call her a name that isn't her's? It is talking about the Pollyanna from the movie, even though the games have nothing to do with her.

one other thing if you guys noticed this... In EarthBound the girl's name is Paula, and in MOTHER the girl's name is Ana

PaulaAna sounds a bit like Pollyanna, but the song is based off of nobody in the games, it's just based off of a movie, and happiness
