  • Nice group. After the head - transitioning into the solo, section, I would add the 2 bars of steady 8th notes played by percussion and bass crescendo into the Minor I-IV-V solo section for added effect. Also, in case you wondering, its kind of hard to hear on the recording, but the coro is:

    "Que Bravo es...come candela

    vive muy bien...a su manera" This was told to me by Bobby Sanabria, the timbalero with Mongo for many years.
