  • treble and gain maxed? go buy a line 6 you newb.

  • I do not understand, why somebody buys an amplifier for a couple of thousand euros/dollars and is not able to buy a microphone to record his amp...

  • the fuck am I listening to

  • thats a rev blue

bogner only startyed using the led light when the revision blue light was out...but there are rev blues with the jewel light also

it saying revision blue on the back means nothing, i had a twin jet that said revision blue on the back

  • u suck!!!!

  • change the tune of the guitar

  • Can you post the settings for this clip? What revision is it? Just curious. Thanks.

  • Sorry for the late reply but I don't really remember :) I think it was something like:

    Gain: MAXED

    Treble: MAXED

    Channel Vol: 12 o'clock

    Mid: 9 o'clock

    Presence: 9 o'clock

    Bass: 11 o'clock

It's a blue rev. (symbols as serial number)

  • Why do you have the gain maxed?

  • @SvenC666

    it's obviously not a revision:blue then.

rev blues used numbers and reads "REVISION: BLUE" on the back

  • @MyIdentityCrisis Some rev blue's also have symbols, like mine does. I have a picture somewhere but can't post it here...

  • one of the greatest songs ever ... pretty solid cover ...only complaint is next time showcase your skills and have the amp in the background..

  • Iced Earth sounds Gay in B tuning haha.

These are good amps, dont be fooled by the shit sound quality and terribly generic playing....heh...just pulling your leg man.

  • not familiar with the song but nice palying anyway. some good galloping-triplet skills going on there =D.

i watched this vid to hear the tone of that amp, i was wondering if it was worth saving for infinite months to get one. sounds ok here besides the poor sound quality. what's your opinion it video uploader?

    x

  • Sorry for the late reply, just got back from holidays. I would say it's definitely worth it, it sounds infinitely better than the sound on this vid. The room acoustics are very bad (slanted ceiling causing all the reverb), the volume of the amp is very low so it doesn't sound at all like how you would play it in a band or live. Anyway, do try before you buy as there are so many choices. I don't think anyone ever regretted buying an Uberschall! And their resell value is high in any case :)

  • to the guy who wants a blackmore; I have experience with them, i was at a gig and my amp fucked up so the other bands guitarist let me use his blackmore. it's difficult to dial in that perfect tone with them, but when you do, oh god is it perfect! needless to say, next day i bought one lol :P

  • Your doing it wrong.........

    bad sound quality.

  • Why don't you show me how it's played then?

And yes I know the sound quality sucks.

  • Wasn't talking bout your playin. I meant the recording lol, you play well and I love that amp.

  • How are you getting such a terrible recording out of your Bogner? Mine always sounds tits even if recorded using a computer mic.

  • Well the room it is in has 2 slanted ceilings which results in terrible accoustics. The amp was set at a very low volume, and the pickups are not that great for B tuning.

Also the speakers in the cab are not very good (Celestion G12L 35w) and the youtube conversion process doesn't do much good to the sound either :)

Mix that all together and you get a crappy sound :P

  • thank you bro, keep thrashing,i wish u best of luck, :)

  • aah!! so you have 2 cabs!!

i would like to get an uberschall but the eng blackmore seems to be

cool for metal(and also for my pocket:)) im planing to buy a bogner uberkab+ a blackmore!

what do you think! i just wish to have on my gear something related to bogner

  • Well you can't go wrong with the Uberkab, they are simply the best cabs for metal. I'm planning on getting one too when I find one.

Can't say I have experience with a Blackmore so can't help you there.

  • 2 v30 and 2 g12t75 just like the uberkab!!

thats great! i didn know it was modded!

have fun and thx for everything!

  • thank you dude:)

i usually hear people bashing on marshall cabs! is yours fine! i mean does your cab handle the power of the uberschall!

  • Well it is a modded marshall cab, it has 2 V30's and 2 G12T75's in it, in an X pattern.

But it certainly handles the Uberschall well at high volumes.

  • Oh and this is not the modded cab, it was too heavy to carry upstairs :)

This cab is the matching cab of a Marshall Valvestate 8100 stack. It has 4 Celestion G12L's in it, and is only 140w compared to 280w of the other one :)

But it's good for low volumes.

Check out my other video's for the other cab.

  • wow iced earth and bogner!!!!! ,thats greaaaaaaaaaat

so tell me, are you able with the kv2 to have a nice and worm clean sound!! and whats about the lead channel!

i want to have a sound somehow like megadeth adn iced earth!!(rust in peace, night of the stormrider!)

  • I almost never play cleans but the Bogner has a decent clean channel. But I might give it a try later. As for the lead channel, this is the lead channel :) The Uberschall only has 2 channels. Leads sound pretty sweet, but again I'm a rhythm player and don't play a lot of leads. I did one solo on another vid of mine (the 4:04 minute one, around 2:12).

You can get a pretty good Iced Earth tone with it, haven't tried Megadeth yet.

Safe to say the Uberschall is one of the best metal amps out there.
