We're probably not going to have the original VA's, and they might not have a clue as to how the main trilogy was supposed to end, but Capcom isn't exactly a company of hacks. With two games to build from, They should be able to make a fitting conclusion. Long as we aren't too picky about the small stuff, it could be great.

When I found out I wasted the entire game getting oscars for a bad hero, i was so angry and raged, then i tried fighting the boss, and haven't beat the game YET. Then MvC3 came out, and i play with viewtiful joe all the time :)

Also, the first time I played through, I didn't upgrade Joe enough which made the final fight even more difficult.

Such a shame when we get left on a cliffhanger and the 3rd (5th game in the series) game is probably never gonna happen now. The Viewtiful Joe series is incredibly underrated, and such a shame it wasn't as popular in US and UK. Many people missed out on this classic series.

At least it kinda got some interest thanks to Tetsunoko VS Capcom but the damage is already done and a sequel seems impossible. Still, the guys who created VJ can go to their graves knowing they made some of the greatest games of all time.

I have plans to show this series the respect it deserves with playthroughs of both VJ 1 and 2, and perhaps a retrospective. While there arn't many fans of the series out there, I aim to try and introduce people to the series and show them that Capcom has a star that needs a comeback

God Hand, Okami, but more importantly, Viewtiful Joe... VJ is just a very very very good game, I got addicted, I even wrote a FAQ in two languages.

Viewtiful Joe 3 MUST be created, and Clover Studio should do it.

However, I grew up loving this game just like you. This game is more than just that for me, it has a deep meaning, it symbolizes everything I love. When I think which game seems like it was made FOR me, I instantly think of this one.

@TheTimeDevourer the director said he was interested in finishing the game it capcom who is holding it up though since Platinum games (previously Clover) is not part of capcom anymore so I say we all protest capcom to get a finish to this. this news of possible finally came in 09 so maybe in the next few years we can see the third threat and possibly more all I know is if its next gen they should continue the sony nintendo sytems

Dang, I love how the plot just slaps you in the face when it comes to Vietiful Joe. No More Heroes is like that too. Also I agree with you, the dialogue and voice acting is awsome, though a tad cheesey.

My only complaint for the series is that Joe didn't make it to Brawl, and that Capcom split with Clover Studios, so the world will never be saved a third time.

It's disappointing to think that there could be a third Viewtiful Joe game but with Clover Studios disbanded I don't think it could be ever made....however I did hear that most of the team's important members came back to form a new developer team that works with Sega as the publisher, so maybe there could be a third game but under a Sega license. Just keep your fingers crossed.

I guess the battles for Alastor is somewhere in youtube, I think I saw them once. I'd upload mine, but I have 2 problems:

1) I've lost practice. I used to be a top player, I beat Ultra V-Rated mode and all. Therefore I don't want to upload a fight right now, I feel I wouldn't show my true potential.

2)My internet is having problems (It ALWAYS has a problem... ugh) so I would need to find another place to upload it other than my own PC.
