This is gorgeous. The subtle echoes of dialogue, the fast cuts in telling the story. It's one of the best I've seen. Along with Saeglopur it reminds me of my oldschool Chlark love before the show writers really got creepy. Also, this is the fulfillment of the whole Chlois theory really. it makes all those weird coincidences make sense.
@vagrantdream13 I also agree about this video being a loose interpretation of the Chlois theory. I no longer believe in it ever happening on the show since it's been rebooted. But while watching this, it validated that Chlois was the story that was and should have been. There's something beautiful, and interesting from a story perspective having had the truth right in front of your eyes this entire time. That's epic and would of been Smallville's legacy

I don't think a week goes by for me without sticking this on. Not only does it have a great song, with great lines from the show, and exhibiting these two characters' fantastic journey through the years, but it's also all just put together so seamlessly.

From seeing the latest convention footage (I nearly puked when the host introduced Erica Durance as 'the best Lois Lane he knew' or words to that affect!) we all have a very strong clue that they are still pushing ED's LL at us, not buying it ever! For me this video is the real history of the proper Lois and Clark and will always (I hope) remind us of true chemistry and devotion, thank you from the bottom of my cynical heart!
I don't know why I haven't commented on this yet, but I love it so much. Every moment was wonderful to see again. I love them so much. There are so many problems with Smallville, but THIS pairing, this partnership, is the only thing they've gotten right Every. Single. Time. Other pairings on this show just pale to Clark and Chloe's love, honesty, and loyalty to each other. I am not watching Season 9. The show I started watching had Clark the Hero and Chloe the Reporter. I want that show back.
Awesome vid. Organic is the best word to describe this pairing. Nothing contrived or aritficially generated about their interactions at all. They actually HAVE a story and its one that works because its rooted in something rich and longstanding. It also helps that AM and TW bring a lovely emotional chemistry to their scenes - a kind of chemistry that is sorely lacking elsewhere. I really wish there was some way to show this video to TPTB at Smallville, and show them that the epic love story that they're trying to create with Clois, has been there all along in the beauty that is Chlark. I love Clois from the Superman lore, but Chlark shoved even them from out of the number 1 spot. Why in the heck would a group of writers emphasize a relationship to the point of iconic and in the end, treat it like pon scum? Oh, and I agree, I see four lights too.
Had to give this another rewatch. What can I say I'm a masochistic. It's just one of those videos you love to watch, and get angered over the ridiculous idea that the writers never had the balls to follow organic storytelling. Anyway without turning this into another speech does anyone know where the two scenes at 4:07 and 7:51 came from?
I got all teary when it hit the, "I love your son!" clip. The editing through the whole thing is fantastic but especially there. As always, flawless editing, fantastic use of dialogue, and incredibly emotional. I also really love the coloring you used on this one, the lighting and the colors make it look really textured.

I cut out of Smallville a long time ago, the moment they had "Lois" except without any doubt, a free ride to college that she hadn't earned. The Lois I have known and loved and wanted to become, would have never done this.

Just had to add to my last comment, if the producers ever get past their big-headed pride then they can give us real love, friendship, two people who have made mistakes, hurt each other (Clark doing the most of this!) and maybe give us the best love story ever and that real true love can surpass fakeness and obsession! From seeing the latest convention footage (I nearly puked when the host introduced Erica Durance as 'the best Lois Lane he knew' or words to that affect!) we all have a very strong clue that they are still pushing ED's LL at us, not buying it ever! For me this video is the real history of the proper Lois and Clark and will always (I hope) remind us of true chemistry and devotion, thank you from the bottom of my cynical heart!

I don't know why I haven't commented on this yet, but I love it so much. Every moment was wonderful to see again. I love them so much. There are so many problems with Smallville, but THIS pairing, this partnership, is the only thing they've gotten right Every. Single. Time. Other pairings on this show just pale to Clark and Chloe's love, honesty, and loyalty to each other. I am not watching Season 9. The show I started watching had Clark the Hero and Chloe the Reporter. I want that show back.

Awesome vid. Organic is the best word to describe this pairing. Nothing contrived or aritficially generated about their interactions at all. They actually HAVE a story and its one that works because its rooted in something rich and longstanding. It also helps that AM and TW bring a lovely emotional chemistry to their scenes - a kind of chemistry that is sorely lacking elsewhere. Its the perfect song choice for a ship that actually has WEIGHT. Thank ya!

WOw this video is just amazing. I couldnt help but tear up a bit. Though at the end the Chlark scenes seemed a little harsher, I love your summary. So true, the show is completely killing the show by killing the Chlarkness. I hate that, but I really love ur video. It took me back and it reminded me why Chlark is my favorite ship. I love the video, amazing work!

AMAZING. There aren't any other words to describe just how beautiful this video is and just how beautiful Chlark is. I really wish there was some way to show this video to TPTB at Smallville, and show them that the epic love story that they're trying to create with Clois, has been there all along in the beauty that is Chlark. Clark really doesn't look at any woman the way he does Chloe Sullivan. Those moments between them are precious, and the best thing to come out of this show.

Wow. This is such a powerful video! So well done and just... makes me miss the days when Smallville was an amazing show: The story of four young people, who grew up to shape one another through their relationships. the story of Clark, Lex, Lana and Chloe. I miss those days when things and characters made sense. Now I can't watch any because I do not recognize them. Whatever happened to Clark the heroic boy we saw in earlier seasons? To Chloe the intrepid reporter? Oh I miss them! Five stars!!!!

I love Clois from the Superman lore, but Chlark shoved even them from out of the number 1 spot. Why in the heck would a group of writers emphasize a relationship to the point of iconic and in the end, treat it like pon scum? Oh, and I agree, I see four lights too.

Had to give this another rewatch. What can I say I'm a masochistic. It's just one of those videos you love to watch, and get angered over the ridiculous idea that the writers never had the balls to follow organic storytelling. I got all teary when it hit the, "I love your son!" clip. The editing through the whole thing is fantastic but especially there. As always, flawless editing, fantastic use of dialogue, and incredibly emotional. I also really love the coloring you used on this one, the lighting and the colors make it look really textured.

thank you for making this vid - it made me cry - very true to the show - no happy ending - but after all "its about the journey" - as they say, just because you love your soulmate - doesn't mean you're destined to be with them - usually not... but that NEVER EVER means that loving them is meaningless, love never is... i'll never regret shipping chlark - true love doesn't demand anything in return... i just hope chloe's character gets a good send off when she goes :)

impresionante! one of the things I would have loved to watch in sv is clark&chloe being actually a couple, in any season, and despite what the writers say about "mythos" or whatever excuse they say(cause I never read comics so i don´t care)... I always keep wonder WHY?...why couldn´t they get togetherrr?.one of the things I never know.

I cut out of Smallville a long time ago, the moment they had "Lois" except without any doubt, a free ride to college that she hadn't earned. The Lois I have known and loved and wanted to become, would have never done this.
And I knew, knew, that there could be no other partner for Clark in Smallville Universe other than Chloe, she is Lois Lane's spirit, her heart and her drive. All the show's Lois has is the name, and it's not enough. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video.

Wonderful job. I'm very disappointed with how poorly this show was written. They could have done so much and had so many wonderful ideas to build from. Instead they made me think Clark Kent is an ass and Lois Lane is an idiot. Thanks so much Goughlar and PS3.

Chlark own my soul. Lionel had the best line in my book. Best sequence was that final climatic section around the 9:15+. Basically the legion quote lol. Shivers,goosebumps, tissues the works! I even loved how you bookend between showing Chlark as kids ending it with little Jimmy Olsen, again brilliant. Stupid writers. :(
