the first rule of prepping and trying to be independent should be not using credit cards, credit is a scam and also people who say dont prep thing you dont like to eat really bugs me because most of the people i hear saying that are over weight and have probably never been hungry in there life because if your starving and all you have is mayonase and crackers you will eat that shit and it will be the best tasting shit you ever ate in your life.
Great Great Info!! So true about the guns & ammo~~although very important. If you don't have food & water for your family~you have nothing to defend! Loved that! Also a little stash cash is very important kept out of the bank. Because when we have Hurricane Disasters around here ATM's are all down! For 1 HC here~our banks MAIN system was down for over 2 weeks!!! Get Prepared~Be prepared & Stay prepared for what you need. Take care.
Interesting points of view. One point I disagree with is the firearms and ammo.I can hunt and get all the food I need. That only applies to areas that have wild game.Good video.
@unomas5 no offense but,do you know how many people are going to resort to the exact same thought.most "game " will be extinct with in months if its a long tern scenario. for the same way the the US government killed off the bison/buffalo to try to"minimize"native Indian populations. for the most part everything will be hunted close to extinction with in weeks if not months.depending on the issues at the time of course. thanks for watching, your interest in my channel and your continued support.
@SoCalPreppers That is exactly what I have been telling people. I live close to a town, it won’t take long for the hungry people that know how to hunt to swarm across the country side killing and eating anything they can get their hands on. There won’t be any game left.
Then they will move on to our gardens they wont care if it is my garden or not.
Thanks. lots of good points. Ive been trying to start prepping for a couple months now. Where to start is what I kept asking myself. Its nice to have someone near by where I live, that has a better idea of more urban prepping. I only wish I had land in an rural area. Keep up your Vids very helpful. Ill try to make it to the OC gun show next time.
Loving the intro! you are absolutely correct on guns and bullets and not being able to eat them! and yes storing food that one loves it is great! great video thank you!
@kissy7fur I see it as contributing as much as you can get away with... there is going to be fluctuations in income and or outflow of money from month to month... Im only saying, stay dynamic with what you can spend, and do it wisely.... But you are correct, that is a great way to start, and if you can adjust it, do it when you can...
Even crap food tastes great after a few days without food.

Start easy in getting rice, beans, and a good water filter.
Then build on that. A good cash stash. Then get ride of the debt.

I use the 90%/10% method for food storage. I use 90% for daily food & 10% for food storage. a bit at a time makes a big difference.
