  • I used to have that light plate u can find it on eBay nowadays

  • This from 1986.

  • Omg No apples or milk! How did we survive the 80s?

  • @sharkslope by being active

  • Cool! I collected several of these as a kid.

  • @TheAltair4

So did i. Did you know Rankin-Bass who did Hobbit, Last Unicorn, Flight of Dragons and more did this show including co-produced uncreditedly by Studio Ghibli? it's a fun fact since some Ghibli animators did the show and went on to direct Grave of the Fireflies and animation direct Castle in The Sky and Nausicaa. Do you remembered when Cheetara got naked in the first episode? that was cool.

  • @Johnlindsey289 That is an interesting fact i didn't know and i do remember when Cheetara got naked. Too bad her tits were nippleless though.

  • @TheAltair4

They should do a Mocap animated film in the TinTin/Avatar/Beowulf tradition by WETA on Thundercats, that would be nice. Yes her tits had no nipples but that's ok.

  • @Johnlindsey289 Yeah, that would be cool to see.

  • Oh man i remembered i had nearly all these, i loved going to BK as a kid.

  • awwwww had the lightswitch cover and snarg

  • I want to fuck Cheatara

  • @bad41132

I have seen you in real life and you could sooner fuck a cartoon than an actual woman, you can't even pay for sex you are so digusting

  • @bad41132

She's the queen of the catgirls don't you think? i'd do the same.

  • The light switch actually glowed in the dark.

  • VOLTRON FTW

  • Ah memories! I had the Snarf straw holder and the lightswitch cover.

  • Fond memories of the lightswitch cover.

  • i was wondering where my switch board cover came from..

  • Dunno 'bout those "toys", but those're the best damn looking happy-type meal boxes I've ever seen!

  • Its a delicious adventurreeee....

  • Hmm, don't remember this set, though I did watch Thundercats as a kid and collected kids meal toys.

  • @slave2moonlight

Thundercats was co-produced by Ghibli did you know that? in fact some of the makers of Grave of the Fireflies, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and Howl's Moving Castle did some of the production. Did you had any toys of Thundercats? it's a shame you weren't into Cheetara like i was as a kid, too weird looking for you?

  • @Johnlindsey289 Yeah, too weird looking and, also, I don't like her voice. I'm picky about voices and I like girly girls. I didn't know that about Ghibli. Interesting. Well, they have come a long way, ha. No, I didn't have any Thundercats toys at all. When it came to store bought toys, I only got any at Christmas and my birthday, so I had to focus on what I really liked, which was mainly Star Wars and Disney stuff.

  • @slave2moonlight

Well Originally Ghibli was Topcraft when they did some of Rankin-Bass's productions and also Nausicaa (aka Warriors of the Wind) and Castle in The Sky then they became Ghibli in 1987 but still had the topcraft department for Thundercats. especially with the music. In Howls Moving Castle they threw a Snarf reference in Howl's dog form in the movie

  • @slave2moonlight

What do you think of the new Thundercats show? do you think Cheetara looks better?

  • @Johnlindsey289

    It sux

  • o_o wtf?

  • get ready folks, thundercats are returning in 2011 , be prepared to get the new BK toys

  • @lattlay I'm prepared for "ThunderCats 2011," and a merchandising series based on said new version.

  • @cybertronization yea me too

  • @cybertronization

I hope it's as good as the new He-Man toon or Transformers animated. They should do a new GI Joe toon, maybe a new Duckula or Danger Mouse show.

  • @MacMaraScott nope!

  • A pity that nobody on YouTube has the second *ThunderCats* Burger King ad where Mumm-Ra and the Mutants ponder where the 'Cats are.

  • Love it!! I hate it how they just put Happy Meals in a bag now.

  • ThunderCats, ho! This commercial is radical!

  • Thundercats light switch not a cool toy but useful

  • Thunder..Thunder..THUNDERCATS..HOOOO!!!

  • SNARF!

  • Those would not pass for kids meal prizes today. A lightswitch cover?

Cool to see the vintage kids meal presentation though. Before apple fries and the other healthy choice options.

  • Was that a light switch cover?

  • @gamerfire3 yes unless i am mistaking... the light switch... is right between lion o's pants... brilliant, brilliant job burger king LOL!

  • Thundercats... brings furries to America!

  • @Wizartar

Eh, never really bothered me if a character was 'furry' or not. I mean, a pretty woman is a pretty woman no matter what.

Fur or not, Cheetara is still a GOOD looking woman.

  • @Wizartar And I loved every second of it.

  • thunder...thunder...thundercats...hooooooooooooo

  • YHUNDERCATS HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
