  • hey chris it saids requirements Intel® Core2Duo 1.6Ghz (or equivalent) CPU, 2GB RAM, Windows 7®, Windows Vista.

Recommended: Intel Core™ i3 or faster, 4GB RAM, Windows 7

my question is..... would this work with windows xp? thanks frank

  • Was this recorded on a bobblehead? lol

  • Never knew of this software. I just bought it and it works GREAT. Thanks for showing this off :)

  • Can i have $15?

  • better off buy a steady cam ! software stabilization crops the video for stabilizing and its ain't that good !

  • Screensaver froze as he said that video can be CPU intensive. lol

  • OR....OR.......use a tripod :D

  • i use vReveal ofc its free for me but i dont know about you guys :P it works with cuda too so thats a + for rendering times !!

  • Awesome software but I do not own Windows. What is the alternative?

  • good video thank you! just started doing you-tube videos and my friend/cameraguy, well lets just say he is not going to be a surgeon when he grows up

  • this feels like an infomercial

  • Yeah, but then quality is decreased.

  • ah, but in order to stabilize, it has to crop it, and these weird fuzzy artifacts are added.

  • Now Ican see the transformers movie with this editing

  • there is not mac version of this software gee I wonder why? because Macs come with all this software as STOCK!! with every mac!!

  • so chris how long are you going to have your sound off for ever

  • What are those two monitors that Chris is using??? They look like they're made for using 2 together! Sweet!

  • Chris sounds here like those crazy people in infomercials on TV trying to convince you to buy their crap.

  • "I can't watch shaky videos, because of the motion - my brain can't keep up!"

    This explains a LOT.

That said, it is more common than people think. A lot of people feel sick if they watch shaky videos for too long.

  • Why not use virtualdub and Deshaker? It's FREE.

  • @OwtDaftUK Cropping is the only way to do away with shake in post. This leads to a smaller res and an inherent drop quality. Chris does a lot of advertisement videos and this doesn't fell like much of his normal ad videos so not sure if he got paid for it.

  • When was the last time the description didn't start with a link that had something to do with lockergnome?

  • Chris, what happened to Wertz?

  • @LittleLegion He's doing his own channel and the rumor was he got 'fired' (not sure he ever got paid to do it but), take that with a grain of salt.

  • Or you could use YouTube's stabilizer in the video editor section...

  • You should send this to ianh.

  • First World Problems: I get car sick when watching shaky videos

  • Can you do this with Sony Vegas?

  • what does it do to the quality of the video tho?

  • it gets cropped :s

  • Can't you get a tripod?

  • People seem to have forgotten about YouTube's built in video stabilizer, in their video editing option. And that works really really well.

Like, i've compared YouTube's video stabilizer with After Effects stabilizer, and youtube's is a bit better.

  • HorizAntal.

  • What I do is use common sense and use my image stabilizer and/or a tripod. :)

  • It shakes because I am wanking myself when I record.

  • Easy, hold the camera right

  • @uDaeth The majority of videos are made with cameras on phones these days. Few people even think about stabilizing their phone when they are in the moment of recording a video.

  • @jakeludington Yup that's true. When I want to get stable video with a camcorder i just stick it on a tripod, tilt the head to the camera points all the way up, then collapse it and rest it on my shoulder

  • you impressed bro?

  • Easier to shoot the video properly in the first place, get a tripod, a steadicam merlin, or a shoulder rig.

  • netbook for video editing ?????? no sense for me..

  • Adobe Premiere Elements 10 has auto stabilize. Otherwise rerecord it and use a tripod.

  • @commercialsaremywife And it costs only $150 -_- And it's made by Adobe

  • In the first part of the video, I thought it was a MacBook air he was using. The second scene, after looking closely, it's a windows notebook! Mindfucked!

  • I think he meant to say "I have put it into a separate folder so you dont have to looks at all of the porn on my computer"

  • Cool dude

  • @mrbeady9 He used BootCamp

  • Cool!

  • Here is something cool . Love it Chris . Problem solved. Thank You , Bob

  • Yeah, sure. Don't even mention the cropping it does. Real informative.

  • what $249? its only $15!!

  • I use Avid, but I am an editor. So yeah, this could be a worthy investment for the layman.

  • $249 for this ? No thank you.

  • @N00BRIUM How about $14.95

  • has to zoom in to fix tho kinda good i guess

  • anyone have a free d/l for this?

  • @jakezan3rd did you even look before posting?

  • @SGTSHOOTnMISS yeah, and i couldnt find one, i was wonderin if anyone else had a link

  • Buy a 'steady cam', I think the lowest price is around 200 and upwards. If you make allot of videos it maybe a worth while investment. You can also buy 'steady cam' for the iPhone.

  • Honestly, this is the most obvious, and one of the most agressive advertisements I've seen in a while. But I still love you. :)

  • Yeah while your camera is stable, your channels content has gone down hill. Its not much better than a channel with all shaky videos with good content

  • yh just $249 :)

  • @lockergnome I have just 1 problem whit the trail version, it does not install any exe file to launch the software with.... And I have chencek in the file path, but ther is nothning....... :(

  • Thank you for the tip! Going to test it right away! ^^

  • That software looks all well and good but just look how much it's cropping the video!

If the source wan't in HD it look completely blown up.

  • @maxsuperdudeisawesom That's how all stabilisation software works, or it does that and a combination of "content-aware" to expand the pixels and reduce the cropping. The best way is to just try and avoid shaky footage at the point of capture, which isn't always easy.

  • what about the video stabilizer in imovie or final cut? Is that good too?

  • That looks like a macbook air with windows?

  • @mrbeady9 It's a Sony Vaio.

  • @jakeludington

    Nice.

  • Youtube has a video stabilization feature as well.

  • and where is AVI/MP4 format?

  • Tripod.

  • @BenTheNo1 yes and stabalisation systems in lenses or camera bodies of reasonable quality

  • Thank you, captain obvious :)

  • @Bharatkumargupta no, and the laptop Jake has, is a Sony Vaio

  • Use a steadycam

  • use a heavy camera..!

  • It is great for youtube but it crops the video... which = quality loss.

  • Nice acting.

  • I wish Handicam's camera stabilizers where cheaper :)

  • I use to be able to fix a shaky video but... then I got an arrow to the knee!

  • look nice

  • how to fix a shaky cam... set camera on a stable, flat surface, or get a tripod...

  • @TheMagicalTouch Yes because that'll work for all situations...

  • Adobe Warp Stabilizer wins ;) By the way, shoot at a higher shutter speed if you're on a DSLR, and you won't get the random blurs.

  • buy a tripod. /video

  • YouTube has this built in now. Check out my Zelda SS unboxing where I applied it.

  • What's annoying in it, is that, it zooms the video.

  • And if you have a mac, just use iMovie's built in stabilization feature. Done.

  • @julianenguillado yes I was thinking that very thing

  • @julianenguillado Yea after you pay 3x more for your mac than any other brand except for alienware

  • @MrLolhacks You get what you pay for. Unless you buy an Alienware of course. In which case your bank account just gets molested.

  • @TalesOfWar Not if you get ripped off.

  • @julianenguillado That Apple would put something usefull in their stuff doesn't make sense to me

  • @julianenguillado sadly i don't have the money to buy a mac

  • @julianenguillado - Not everybody has a Mac, you know?

  • @lockergnome He did say "if"

  • @lockergnome Do you know what "IF" means?

  • @lockergnome he did say "if you have a mac"

  • @lockergnome buy a mac simple

  • Comment removed

  • @lockergnome linux ftw

  • @lockergnome They said in the video that it's a PC software. I don't think it's available for the MAC yet!

  • @ToughtAggregate then how am i using it in final cut pro now? its dual i think i might be runnung beta...

  • @julianenguillado The pro version of Mercalli is by far the best image stabilization on the market. It plugs into most of the pro-editing suites. Mercalli Easy is great for the times when you just want to stabilize and then upload without the hassle of an editor.

  • can you review the youtube editor built in stabilizer? its pretty swell.

  • @RichardULZ its cool, quick n easy way to smooth ur videos but unlike anything that is demoed in the video i should say

  • How about for the Mac?

  • @echampine iMovie.

  • GET A FUKING LIFE!!!

  • @Shahbaz7371 He has a career, hot girlfriend, friends, and enjoys what he does. It sounds like -you- are the person complaining about it. Sounds like you're the one that needs to get a life, kiddo. Good luck with that.

  • shanky video.

  • hey thanks for sharing this, awesome program

  • does MBA 11 inch has HD web cam built in?

  • Been using the pro version of this for about half a year. It's pretty awesome in Premiere Pro and Vegas Pro has it built in.

  • Nice
