@pmodizzle I don't know about that. Even when we had Sapp and Booger you could always do well running right up the middle. We don't exactly have John Lynch in the box either. We aren't going to give Drew Brees 5 minutes in the pocket anymore, and we will create some negative runs, but I'll be much happier when we can find a safety or linebacker to play smashmout with Carolina and Atlanta in the box.

Or even better...Tampa won't even have to blitz. McCoy and Price are gonna push guards and centers into the backfield and into the QB...and the ends will just run their loop around the tackles and the QB won't be able to step up to avoid them.

I said Ellis would have a better career than Dorsey and its happening.

I say this guy will have a better career than McCoy!! Why? 80% of the time he wins 1-on-1s. He moves through line traffic extremely well and his 1st step is quick and his 2nd step is powerful. He also didn't play with that much talent around him like McCoy did so he wrecked shop on his own. He takes good angles and works his hands.

He's extremely quick off the ball, i would like to see him in a Giants uniform next year. I think he'd be good with Barry Coefield.His addition would create competition at the DT position since Robbins is on the decline and Jay Alford is coming off major knee surgery. Rocky Bernard should get cut he was healthy for most of the season and did nothing. Also we can find a solid linebacker in the 2nd round of the draft along with secondary help.

He's been very impressive in run support this year (23.5 TFL). Reminds me sort of Sedrick Ellis as a prospect. I think he can actually play NT in a one gap 3-4 system, although 4-3 UT is obviously his best fit.

NT? Haha no.. Have you even watched him? Lots of TFL doesnt mean impressive in run support. It means hes a penetrator that gets into the backfield. Hes not stout in run support at all and struggles when he is targeted and dont get penetration. He wont sniff the 3-4..
