German shepherds are incredible police dogs! You have to figure, they were originally bred to defend and herd sheep from predators wich included wolves and take them on if needed! So taking on a human is light work for them!

EVER take a hit at a K9 Unit officers dog, because if they have even a moment to get their hands on you without anyone else around, you're as good as dead. This is Sweden we're talking about, we have a higher quality of life than the US. We *choose* not to use guns. There's a reason we have much lower crime stats than the US. People don't go around shooting each other, and neither does the police. Real police don't need guns.

Thats like saying police in Mexico dont need guns. It is different in Sweden though and yes people dont go around shooting each other and you do have a higher standard of life and crime is lower. I lived in Europe for 3 years and loved it, also visited Sweden. The U.S. could learn and adopt many Euro practices like healthcare for citizens.
