I think the age requirement of 16 is right because there are so many talented young girls out there but are not taken seriously because of their age. Most 16 year olds are more mature than most 18 year olds. Look at Lindsey Wixson and Daphne Groeneveld, They're both under the age of 18 and they have done more things in their career than most older models today.

I can understand why they're being sceptical about Alice's weight, actually. Even though she IS beautifull and healthy, she still looks anorexic. And there is already too much in the fashion industry supporting/causing eating disorders, which is something that they're trying to change.
