I believe it is Quartz. As to this being 'rubbish' it is interesting that crystal therapy, imaging, and 'laying on of hands' is now being researched by "Modern" medicine. Even as Royal Raymond Rife discovered that diseased blood, 'germs', cancer, and other blood contaminates could be destroyed by light without harming the body so Medicine today if finding merit with this method of treatment using light waves.
