  • christians are given a new life when they are born again. but even a christian has to face temptations and lusts of the flesh as long as they live on this planet. we just need to ask the holy spirit for strength

  • @tdforjesus Facing temptation does not mean that you have to sin. Even Jesus was tempted, but He was without sin. If you are truly born again, then you have been made free from sin (Romans 6:7, 18, 22).

  • @CensorshipKilla We all need Jesus. There is no one that through their own power or trying can walk free from sin. However, through the grace and power of God and His help, we can walk as Jesus walked, free from sin and in obedience to God the Father. God is faithful. He keeps all His promises. Praise God for delivering us from the bondage of sin and helping us to walk in obedience to Him!!!!

  • @CensorshipKilla Ask God to help you overcome temptation and He will.

13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 14And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 1 John 5:13-15

  • @CensorshipKilla Since Jesus lived a sinless life, He is able to help/succour you to overcome temptation, so that you don't have to sin.

17Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. 18For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. Hebrews 2:14-18.

  • @CensorshipKilla 13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 - God always provides an escape from temptation so that we never have to sin.

  • @CensorshipKilla God is just. He doesn't ask us to do anything that He knows can't be done. Jesus Christ lived a sinless life in this world. So, one can walk in holiness in this life as He walked and not sin everyday, which is why God's word tells us that those that love Him will keep His commandments (1 John 5:1-4). I want to share with you a few of the beautiful promises of God to help us overcome temptations so that we don't have to sin.

  • @CensorshipKilla Sorry I typed the wrong reference. It's Romans 6:1-12. Through Jesus we are reconciled to God, have forgiveness of sins and are now dead to sin as in we are no longer in bondage to it. We no longer have to sin daily and are now actually commanded to walk as Christ Jesus walked in holiness.

  • @CensorshipKilla 1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? ....6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. ... 11Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Galatians 6:1-12

  • @CensorshipKilla You said "@Arourasb1 Look up a full list of sins, and you will see that everyday you are in violation..its about trying your best and turning from sin, God searches your heart. Getting a little tired of you self righteous Christians who somehow think you are perfect. "

Here is a little of what the word of God says on this subject in a couple of posts. Any freedom from sin that I have came from Jesus Christ and I give Him all the credit and glory and praise for it!!!

  • @CensorshipKilla You said, "What about an addict who can not get free from drug addiction after several attempts of praying to God and Jesus? Its the trying that counts with God..."

Sadly that is how many view the gospel. It is weak and powerless to them. What I am talking about is the grace of God to free a person from sin. I was addicted to drugs/alcohol before salvation, but I chose to repent & God freed me from those addictions.Mere "trying" on your own is not enough, submission to God is.

  • Thanks for posting, Ive been looking for other people that have had a true born again experience. Unfortunately I don't come across to many of them. I only know of about 3 and they are scattered throughout the Nation.

  • @ThePersecuted7 Yes, there are very few of us, but God has His people. There are also a lot of people rising up that talk holiness, but they do not live it or really believe it. We must be on guard and avoid the fake, which there are many. May the Lord bless you and give you fellowship with Him forevermore!

  • AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ramonkey0807 I am glad the video was a blessing. May the Lord bless and keep you!

  • @MrHolyfaith Yep. God can see the depths of peoples hearts though and he can tell who used being saved to continue in sin and those who understood they were too weak to be better alone. We will never be perfect but God knows if we are honestly trying. :) Praise God for being so understanding and Loving!

  • @ByGraceFoundFree2006 Tragically, today most people use grace as an excuse for sin. Adultery, lust, lying, and all manner of sin is laughed away and excused with a simple "God forgives." It is very grieving. I see few professing Christians that have godly sorrow for their sins and a true desire to walk with Jesus free from sin. Jesus is always seen as a means to an end, namely forgiveness. We need to be living holy and in constant prayer for this lost world and the lost professing Christians.

  • Praise the Lord for another voice of TRUTH on the internet!!! You nailed it down well my brother!!! This is the TRUE GRACE OF GOD!

  • good teaching, would have been nice to see the scriptuer on the screen and not rerunning the title every few seconds

  • I agree. In future teachings I will be having at least the chapter and verse on the screen. I might put the entire scripture, it just depends on if I can make it look nice. Thanks for the suggestion. I am open to any suggestions to make it easier to understand the teaching.

  • Amen! This is a really true message about salvation and what it means to be born again. If you are born again, then you are freed from sin by the grace of God and enabled to walk in holiness as our Lord walked in Holiness through God's power.
