Non poteva mancare un omaggio ad una mia grande passione: i romanzi gotici. Parafrasando Julien Gracq, potrei dire: 'Possano essere mobilitate qui le possenti meraviglie dei Misteri di Udolpho, del Castello d'Otranto e della casa Usher per comunicare a queste fiacche immagini un po' della forza magica che hanno serbata le loro catene, i loro fantasmi e le loro bare'.
