Whether you agree with any of the military action that has taken place in the last 10 years (I don't), I don't think there is anything wrong with Bush saying that he makes the decisions ("decider" is a real word by the way, but decision maker would have sounded better). If I was a president, I would listen to other people's input, but once I made a decision I would remind everyone that my decision stands when criticism comes up.
