Steam on the Pichi Richi Railway

What an awesome piece of rolling equipment. Maintaining rolling stock as this requires many man hours, and lots of money. I say it's worth it. There's something very artistic about steam engines. The one shown here is awesome.

My husband and I are taking our 3 kids for their first ride on the Pichi Richi Explorer next weekend. They have just watched the video and are really excited about it. They like the fact that they won't have to wear seatbelts! To top it off we've booked into Willows Old Brewery Restaurant for lunch afterwards.
