Yuba. two Federal Agencies U.S.D.A.-Forest Service & U.S.D.I.-Bureau of Land Management, plus California State Parks and Nevada County conducted over 40 public meetings. The local community had any open fires made illegal in the S. Yuba River corridor. That was made part of the management plan. I worked on the S. Yuba for 16 yrs, for one of those agencies.

I had asked the ranger and he informed me to get a campfire permit from the local fire station. Maybe you are mistaken...
