No doubt that the Catholic Church is Full of Error and Apsotasy. The Cross where Jesus shed his precious blood is the True Church and True Baptism. Where else do we as Christians congregate our SINS into Jesus. The blood of Jesus Washes our Sins away. We are made the image of Jesus Holy and Acceptable to the Holy Father for the eternal Kingdom. I was once Lutheran and now Catholic and I feel that the Eucharist is a depth that is unmmatched and the living Christ, which is the center of our Church.

Well put, not to hard to understand once you read into it. Catholic church is full of error and apostasy. I just did a study in Revelation on the 7 churhes, when Jezebel comes up, it is Mary. Look at Ashera in the OT also Mary. God is Soveriegn and deals with a lot of Idolatry. One reason God gave us his Son Jesus is to look to Jesus, not any other figure like Mary. God is revealed thru Jesus.

This scripture does not EXCLUDE Mary. Mary was not concieved from a virgin birth as Jesus. She is a sinner saved by the same means of Grace that all are.

Mary knew she needed a Savior

In Luke's gospel, Mary herself admits that she was a sinner. Otherwise she would never have concluded that she needed a Saviour:

Mary did need a savior ...Jesus is her savior. Mary had to be kept free from original sin in order to give Jesus a completely untainted, spotless and imaculate human nature so that He could be the Spotless Lamb of Sacrafice. Mary couldn't do this on her own because she was a mere mortal. She needed a Savior like everyone else. But God is not limited to time and space, Mary had the effect of salvation before Jesus did the work of salvation and she was given the gift of being preserved for him.

Mary is not dead, we are not suppose to communicate with the dead but that means the spiritually dead...Mary is in heaven and all the saints in heaven are alive. The book of Rev talks about the prayers of the saints and Rev 12 is a referece to Mary. Yes Jesus is the only mediator between God and Man. Mary can't go right to the father but she can go to Jesus for us just like I can go to him for you and vise versa. We can ask saints to pray for us just like I can ask you to pray for me and so on.

@sarahmcc28 The woman in revelation is a picture of the Israelite nation as shown in Gen37:9,10 with the sun representing Jacob, the moon his wife Rachel, and the 12 stars representing the tribes of Israel. Christ was born of Israel. The Israelite nation is often referred to as a woman in Isaiah54:5 and Jeremiah31:32.This woman cannot be mary because the woman IS ON EARTH DURING THE TRIBULATION, whereas mary's spirit is in heaven at that time.

Catholicism = way too much emphasis on Mary. You refer to her far more than the bible does. Catholics (at least the obsessed ones) deify Mary and they deify their church institution (along with the powerful hierarchy that rule it). I was born and raised Catholic but as I have grown I have come to reject and it's irrational dogma. In fact I am now an atheist and I embrace only reason and rationality. Those are my gods.

I respect your opinion. However, your wrong in accusing us that we, catholics, deify Mary. We never deify her for she is not God. We only highly venerate her for she is the mother of our savior. And even when we use REASON as you mention, I think it is not wrong out of our LOVE to her, that we venerate her... I love you...

Are you a betting person? You have a 50/50 percent chance your new position as an atheist is correct. If you are correct, you will never know, correct? If you are not correct, you will know forever that you were wrong. Forget the things that are said in this video for now. Have you traveled much? Ever witness nature's beauty? Ahh yes--Pacal's wager. The problem is you forget that OTHER belief systems threaten you too--because if Muslims are right you're going to Islamic hell!

Belief is not a matter of choice--I have to be CONVINCED something is true before I'm ABLE to believe it otherwise belief is not genuine. Don't you think your god is mart enough to know that?

As to nature--beauty is in the eye of the beholder--it's called adaptation and it's an unwarranted leap to suggest it proves the Christian god.

Con't--- I'm not sure how you mathematically arrived at 50/50 percent probability. Considering the primitive nature of the bronze age beliefs, not to mention the absurd claims made in the bible, I would calculate the chances Christianity is true as closer to close to zero percent and a 100% chance the atheists are correct.

@nando33 No--not quite. Atheism (unlike a theism) does not hold beliefs as absolutes.

The atheist "position" I hold is: there is no evidence for "god", therefore no reason to believe in one. This logic works exactly like the scientific method. A claim must be demonstrated with reliable evidence for before declaring it knowledge.

Disbelief is the default position for any claim unsupported by evidence. It applies to all fields of study and is elementary to our laws of logic.
