During the episodes they show many, periodic table references, since the main character is a chemist (duh). And please don't judge something you have never watched, anyone with a kindergarten education would know this.

Never watched the show, but from what I can tell its a joke, I am sure the writers thought they were clever for sticking random fucking elements off the periodic table into the name of the show, for neither barium nor bromine are used in the production of cocaine, shit actor choice too, anyone with half an high school education would know all of this. Which just goes to show whom most of the viewers of this pathetic drama are.

Although they are completely different, both the wire and breaking bad are compared because of the sheer quality of tv drama they offer. Nothing comes close and after watching either of them you soon become snobby about anything else on tv. What do you guys prefer? BB or the wire? I would say the wire wins, only just. The things with the wir eis that there are allot of episodes, and each one has about 1000 angles on the story. But most of the time, I wanted the street action and not politics.

Season 2 will air in March. Much too long. The Screen Actor's Guild Foundation sponsored a "conversation" with the cast last week here in Albuquerque. All were there and shared about how much of a family this program is. It was apparent from the interviews how committed to their craft. They made themselves available at a reception afterwards. Extraordinary!

"which cooks up a wild premise" yeah i love this series. as an ex intraveinious methamphetamine addict, my obvious compulsive draw to the show was initially the fact it was based on cooking selling and or consuming meth. but theres SO MUCH MORE. it adds the middle class american man being drawn to this way of life and culture for reasons other than getting high or making money for personal gain. this series has dipicted the way tweekers act and how it feels to be spun so realistically.

This show looks like a less good version of the show Weeds. I love that Malcolm in the Middle Guy, but i will pass on this show i think, at least for now.

On an unrelated note, the host of this review show is terrible. He's so monotone and uninteresting and he seems very nerdy, whoever would hire him to host a show is probably on crystal meth.
