Stargazer is really deep. Seed does it for me, Destiny almost missed its mark. Almost. And then there's a BILLION "Astray" side stories....in that sense, Stargazer is a breath of fresh air. Especially considering it's a side-story to Destiny in particular. No whiny, angry Shinn or perfect, stoic-faced Kira, no Rau clones like Ray or I-just-can't-make-up-my-mind Athrun. No all-powerful Freedom Gundam upgrades, no METEORS, no Genesis weapons, no Astrays. It's a BREATH OF FRESH AIR.
Stargazer is one of the most beautiful Gundams ever built and it fascinates me that it was built for space exploration...I wonder why they built a Gundam mobile suit instead of just another ship for space exploration? There is such a particular emphasis on the symbolism of a Gundam that means so much. And poor Sven...Blue Cosmos really warped his mind. It's a blessing he came to his senses before he got killed, like his Phantom Pain comrades.
I guess this might sound weird, But if I had to choose a song upon my dying bed, I would certainly choose this one as my body gives its last breath....

It's supported with protective nanomachines and defense mechanisms such as Beam Reflectors, which can actually be converted into energy and tossed back. It's AI system can have pilot's battle strategies input into it, and it continues to grow as well.
with the exception of Stargazer(which was awesome), Rau, and Mu La Flagga(before he became a space chameleon that can hold his breath forever), Katz is more badass than anyone from the Cosmic Era.

They need to just make another season off of what happened after this. I personally thought SEED and SEED Destiny were fine but this feels incomplete to me. It's like a side story that was just as good as the main show combined.
Its funny how,IMO, in just 45 minutes Stargazer's characters have more depth and development than pretty much all the Characters of DESTINY. The staff in charge of Stargazer should be in charge of the Cosmic Era.

SEED was the best Gundam series i've ever seen, the romance and drama were made quite well, 00, season 1 was slow and boring to me, second season got better, no drama which made the show just talking and mumbling about random things while the characters in SEED says stuff with more feelings and not always about fighting but rather talk about stuff to stop fighting, 00 says they will stop war, but sometimes start their own ones

I don't have anything against it. Personally I like Seed, I just felt that its too long and the writers are milking it. I mean 2 seasons. 50? episodes each about? And a movie. And OVAs and mangas. Yeah a little too long for me. Now if 00 does that too...well I'll have to go back to CCA for my fandom. The Special Edition series are different though.
OO composes of only 2 seasons and it totals up to 50 episodes only, another best thing of 00. season 1 composes only of 25 eps also season 2, compressing the story well and having all episodes with Gundam battles

I don't know about you, but I think if they'd extended this series a bit, it could've been the best of the Cosmic Era series to date (if it isn't already!) I'm not talking about fifty episodes or anything, more of a OVA lentgh, like twelve half hour episodes (like 08th MS team or something like that.)
