really nice man! runs and sounds great! i traded my stang for one of these and love it but do miss churping gears. how do you get them to churp?

Very nice man! I see it's shifting at about 6400 instead of the 5800 it normally shifts at. That's because of the tune right?

Yes, tune and a cam. It's actually shifting at 6800 RPMS. in manual mode I can pull 7000 RPMS

I wonder, does getting a tune also eliminate that huge delay in manual mode? I have to tell it to shift from 1-2 at like 5500 rpm, otherwise its too late and it hits the limiter.

Yes, a good tuner can fix the trans issues by adjusting the torque management.

I have one more question, what tune did you use?

I'm probably going to use the Cortex tuner, due to HPTuner being 200 dollars or so more.

I've seen you around GRRR8 forums, you have a truly amazing G8.

It was custom tuned by Livernois Motorsports, and by New Era Performance. they use HP Tuners. I don't believe in canned tunes, as every car is different depending on how they were built and broke in.
