I know its human nature to glorify aspects of your own childhood, and dismiss those of the "next generation".(ie. thanksgiving at Grandma's house 'when I was your age' monolougues), but I actually wish that kids today could see shows like Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Angry Beavers, CatDog etc. I swear I'm catually AFRAID to see what the new nicktoons and cartoon network shows are all about!

I am kind of tired of hearing everyone go on and on about how todays cartoons aren't anything like the old ones. I just wish people would stop being so fucking nostalgic all the time and just watch the cartoons. I am 19. I have always been a cartoon fanatic. every night i come home, sit down and just enjoy watching cartoons. Just because it's from your childhood doesn't mean it's from the golden age of cartoons.

@Unorthodox6391 I agree with you to an extent. I don't think I lived in some Golden Age where everything was glorious and fantastic. But compared with the shit these last few years, it makes this show look like a masterpiece. iCarly? Big Time Rush? True Jackson V.P.? Victorious? I have 2 little sisters, so I've seen these shows many times. They undeniably suck. The "jokes" are fucking awful! Not even funny to a 5-year-old. There's nothing deep, nothing humorous, nothing good about Nick today.
