It's definitely magic. Staggeringly good, this should have been her "best performance" choice for the final to compliment the 3 remaining ballads. Can't believe how much oomph and drama she injected into this performance. This girl is very, very special.

You have to remember that Mariah is almost 40 years old. She has been singing non-stop for almost 20 years and it really has taken a toll on her. She won't be able to regainthe glory she once had because she doesn't hav the voice she once had.

Who cares about how high Mariah can sing! She might have a good voice, but does she use it to sing anything good? NO! Leona sings more naturally and more beautiful, much less diva-like. Mariah makes me want to gag by showing her huge ghetto booty, and singing terribly long vocal scales to show off.

I completely agree with you, I was just saying the same thing to my girlfriend who thought she was another mariah carey when the high notes come in. Leona is a lot more natural. Kudos to posting this one.

She is amazingly talented. I think she can be superb, not just another Mariah, but the first Leona Lewis. Special talent and she seems like such a nice down to earth girl too. I just hope this doesn't change her. I'll tell her if I ever meet her ;)
